VN - Ren'Py - Blurring the Walls [v0.5.33v2] [Torimiata]

I agree with the feedback saying this feels more like a linear story than a choice-based VN, so many of the decision points can probably be removed/cleaned up in the future. That said, Ayumi is one of the best netorase FMC designs I've seen in a long time (both looks and personality). The artwork has the expected AI quirks but I've been enjoying the scenes. It's a very slow burn, but that's a selling point for me rather than a drawback. The characters and setting provide a series of early slice-of-life stories that won't make it into a 2-hour movie script but are great for these running VNs where you want to learn about and spend time with characters.

One warning to fans of a specific type of sharing story: I don't think readers looking for a self-insert "sexually empowered" MC will love this, as your avatar is very passive, has a threeeee (inch long) dog, and both girls spend most of their erotic dialogue drooling over your best friend's hog that fits a baker's dozen of yours in it by volume. Your childhood friend calls your dick a salad and his a steak and that's basically always the sentiment around your dude's member. Size isn't important, but it clearly is - "Oh, yours is good too tho, MC" vibes. I personally wish there was more sexual equilibrium in the group as I vehemently hate the "stand in the corner and be a cuck with a microdong then get a handjob from your tired GF" carousel stories, but it feels like the dev understands relationship dynamics (to keep Ayumi attractive to the reader throughout the story) and plans to balance content for fans of different types of sharing. It does feel like the FMC is doing everything with the MC in mind and is genuinely in love with him, which keeps things light and feeling fun even though the scenarios get a bit too cucky in theme for my personal taste.

Anyways super impressed with Ayumi and will be 100% locked in for future updates!

v0.5.31 EDIT: I prefer the overall "feel" of the original intro to the new version, but there are a lot of improvements in the remake. The bus stop scene is my favorite new addition and highlights how Tori's relationship building is a step above other NTRS authors. Ayumi's personality still shines in the new scenes. This is one of the rare VNs where my kinks don't really align with the MC's so far, but I keep checking back and enjoying it for the writing and character personalities. Hope for less focus on sausages as the kink variety opens up in Act 2!

Graphics are beautiful and hot. Characters are well written and loveable. Story really manages to make you feel as the part of a close group of friends.

Netorase is such a paradox, it's really hard to keep things wholesome when the underlying fetish is jealousy. This is as wholesome as it gets.

Terrace is my new BFF (I'm lonely) I would let him rail my GF all day long, and he could fuck me too if he asks nicely. No homo

Game Play: 2/5 (choices have no damn meaning it should of just been a damn kinetic novel as nothing you do will change the NTR)
Sound: 4/5
Art: 3/5 (at times she looks younger and other times older guess the problem with AI)

With the safe choices selected your character would be at most exhibitionist but it forces NTR making this a kinetic novel with your choices meaning NOTHING. At this point you realize Developer is not giving you a choice it's going to be NTR no matter what so just make it a damn kinetic novel when choices don't matter!

It's not a true Visual Novel as choices don't matter it's actually a Kinetic Novel in disguise. Don't hide what it is and make choices in a game that does not mean anything.

The key point is even if it did not happen is that as MC I should of had an option as I have to stop this... than the realization that it's a trap being played on him just before you can, but as the scene stands now you the MC is a Beta Cuck that was going to let it happen!

This game is fantastic.

The writing is really good. One of the few games where I end up taking my time and reading all the text inside of just skimming through to the good stuff.

The art is really nice, you can tell the backgrounds are AI generated but the characters are really drawn really well.

Some might dislike the slow burn, and I understand, but 5.0.2 fixes a lot of issues I had and I’m looking forward to the next update.

Best NTS game on the site right now and I hope it only gets better.

This is a review for v0.5.2.

Gameplay: It's a kinetic novel as ofcurrent standards. There are choices it seems, but they mostly influence the flow of some scenes, but this new version seems to be attempting to include some semblance of "tags" that are required for some choices/lines to be picked. Not that this is bad or good, it is simply how it is.

Art: I am not artist, but if you're going to use AI art, this is how. There are no apparent mistakes or jarring visual shifts, the girls have SOME inconsistency when it comes to breast sizes/proportions, but even then,a human artist isn't 100% consistent either way. The takeaway is, it is AI art, that you can tell is AI art, but it isn't low quality.

Soundtrack: There is some attention to detail here, the pieces shift and cut when the scenes end, the girls are voiced by moans when the scene requires it, and ambient sounds are included, all in all it isn't shoddy work you can tell someone gave it some thought.

Writing/Story: Now we're getting to the good part, the story follows the protagonists, Ayumi and Kento as they go on a vacation with their friend Terrace. Part way through, Kento's ex is introduced.

The tropes are all there, Ayumi is a shy but exhibitionist slut, Terrace is your filler bull character, Kento is a shy passive cuck, and Ari is a pushy devious ex who "knows" about he MC's kink.

The colors are all the same you've seen in any other NTR, the refreshing part is the way the side-cast is handled, Ari is pushy and devious, but she seems to want to have fun with the MC and his kink. Terrace may be the bull, but he is also relatively shy and laidback.

And the story, was progressing in the slowest most excruciatingly good slow type of burn, but as it spent so much time on the climbing up to the diving board, it's now in a grand 4 spins 5 double-jumps 3 figured athletic dive, this WILL be jarring, hot. But jarring.
I feel I have to comment this too, it isn't poetry, and it isn't your typical VN dev with his passing 10th grade English mark trying his hand at writing, the dev can write.

Closing Thoughts/TLDR(contains spoilers): It's a darn good VN so far with controversial choices, in a world of NTR, it's NTS. In a world of hand-drawn/koitatsu/wathever engine, it's using AI but it's using it well.

I will say this though. The story threads DANGEROUSLY close to feeling NTR (only in feel, because in practice you, the MC, as okay'ed more or less everything that goes on). If you're into Exhibitionism and NTS this will be right up your alley.

unlike most of games with these trope, the NTR/Corruption comes with a lot of story progression, really looking forward to what comes next each update.

the AI CG might put a lot of people off but this is probably one of the best IMO, consistent, very pretty heroine as well.

Has huge potential but a bit boring as of V0.5.0

+ Character designs are great.
+ Writing is above average aside from the pacing.

= I don't really care for the animation style. Would rather just have still CG but it's not a big negative.

- The disclaimer at the beginning of the game was not kidding when it said this is a slow burn. I'm not the type who needs immediate slutification or just skips to the gallery or whatever, but idk how many times "yes I like being teased" and "yes I like it when you attract attention" needs to be rehashed. There is a difference between slow progression and almost no progression.

I love the game but I can't recommend it to anyone looking for the NTS experience for the time being unless you like being blueballed or have literally nothing else to play/read.
Sure, there is a huge amount of text but almost nothing happens. A huge nothing burger imo.
The biggest thing I've seen is some exhibitionism and lesbian kissing.
If you're looking for some actual netorase sex or sharing content, you're out of luck (at least for now).

Edit: Okay, I MAY have been a little too extreme with my review. There ARE vanilla sex scenes and they are also pretty hot between the MC and the FMC. If you're into femdom and "what if" situations and roleplays, then this is the game for you.

The art looks good and unlike many other AI games is fairly consistent.
The story is a bit shallow at times and it feels more and more like a kinetic novel. Far to few choices with little to no impact.

This game is extremely hot. The best part is the writing, but the art is a very close second. There's some spelling and grammar mistakes throughout the game that could be fixed with a proof reading. Sometimes as simple as the wrong but similar word being used. The other reason I didn't give this game 5 stars is because it's AI art. Most of the time it's fine and you probably won't be looking too closely anyways, but there's definitely a point or two where it throws you off. There's a background image near the beginning where it has an outside window on the wall showing the sky, but on the other side of the wall is clearly a bedroom. It's the common inconsistences that you get from AI art. This game has some very surprisingly consistent art with the characters, and honestly the occasional "wtf is that?" in an image might actually be better than games that have multiple artists contributing pieces that are clearly from different people's styles.

Overall, it's a great game and just needs more polishing. One thing to note however is that this definitely falls closer into kinetic novel than visual novel. There's a choice or two that's significant, but it seems most don't matter or are just to skip ahead over bits of fetish content players may not care about.

For me, this is probably the best NTR game i have ever played, for a couple of reasons.

This is slow paced, but not in a bad way. The story builds up in a realistic way, and it does not jump the gun. And the story is amazing, and its very well written. Like a fine vine, you want it to last, and you don't want to skip to get to the naughty graphics. If you do, you will absolutely miss out.

The characters are likable, and i feel as if everyone is doing whatever they are doing with respect of the MC. And the MC and his girlfriend are exploring things TOGETHER. No one is hurt, no one humiliated. Its pure excitement and it feels both forbidden and realistic.

I love how you don't get to see everything but instead is teased and given room for your own assumptions and fantasies. You get to feel what the MC feels.

The graphics are AI generated, sure. But i think it looks great, and i don't mind one bit. I bet there is a ton of work put into it regardless.

This game is a rare gem on here that manages to take the feelings of desire and lust and work them into a character-driven story that I personally would read even if the sex was "fade to black". The effect choice has in this game is pretty limited for now. I don't know if that will change much in future. At the moment you're choosing how far you go rather than what you will do as a character. Maybe that will change, I don't know, but I'm enjoying where we are right now. And with how fast the updates are coming out and the QUALITY (AI done right) it's one to support if you can or at least grab for your library on itch.io.

Very nice till now, slow progressing and very exciting. The AI art may look goofy at some times, but the choice on the design compensate for it, and in the end it grows on you ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and you end up liking it

This is the best netorase / sharing game on the entire internet. And as a fan of the genre this is my favourite VN like game of all time.

If you're interested in netorase / sharing at all, this game is a must play. The author is a master writer when it comes to building suspense and teasing the MC / player while making it slow burn enough that it seems very realistic.

I love that the game is very sexual while not just blowing it's load early and ruining the suspense / build up like so many other games do.

Also, the visuals are excellent in their own right. Like a 4.5/5 for me. Keep in mind the story is a literal 10/5 (hehe).

Please support this dev on Patreon if you liked the game as it's the best netorase / sharing game by a mile.

I tried this game out and I'm not disappointed, it is a true slow burning NTR tease nightmare, or heaven hehe. And it works, i love it so far and can't wait to keep playing, to see how far and depraved it will go, great game for everyone interested in NTR Teasing

At the time of writing this review, the story to this game is just about to take off but the potential it has has already won me over to give this 5 stars. There has been no other game that has done what this creator is doing. The use of AI is a smart move, as long as it is pared with actual art and edits,; it's done in a smooth way. I hope Torimiata stays true to his own ideas and the narrative he has in mind, and doesn't pander too much to requests.

First of all, don't allow the AI art tag to turn you away. The artist trained a model based on his own art and went back and fixed all the typical AI weirdness. You wont find any lovecraftian hands in this game.

The last time I played a vn and actually enjoyed it was katawa shoujo like 15 years ago, so I hope that really puts some weight behind my 5 star rating.

The game has an NTR tag. Specifically this game is netroase so that means that the girl is being shared with the main character's consent. There is no humiliation- in fact its quite the opposite. The other guy who the girl is shared with isn't just some heartless playboy- he is friends with the MC and treats him appropriately. I love the personalities and relationship dynamics between the characters. Ari (second girl) really ties things together and moves the plot along in a way that feels very natural. The writing is great. The art is great. Don't skip on this, even if you aren't a fan of vns.

This shits fucking goated. Been watching this since about half a year ago when it released on a different site using rpgm instead of Renpy (great choice to move by the way).

Anyways love this so far, the teasing and playfulness is great. And the vanilla scenes help keep everything together which is great since you keep the vanilla scenes shortish so they don't become boring. But the ero scenes are long since well... that's what we're all here for. Though you still need that soft romance to add to it. Great job on how you've split up your writing so far. Character models and art is great, I think probably about as good as you can get without getting a full team going.

My only real critiques are sound effects are a bit iffy at times, and sometimes prose.

Without gushing too much, this is what every other NTR AVN wishes it was.
Art is fantastic
Characters are fun and well written in their dynamics
Story is slowly building but has lot's of sexy interludes
Take notes everyone, NTR is only good when the characters care about the relationship. Whether cheating, sharing, swinging or stealing; it's the tease/denial, will they/won't they, freedom and attempts to stop that make it exciting.

This game makes sure to establish the strong loving relationships these characters have with each other which is good because if your characters don't care about each other than neither do I.

Also reminds me of Girlfriend Tapes; but if everything that was wrong with that game and it's characters was fixed.
