reason #5,646 why you don't develop a game for 6+ months without releasing something: performance is awful. user feedback would've told you this much, much sooner.

now the dev must spend even more time fixing it.

Is the performance that bad? I have a pretty old non gaming laptop (2017) and the game works flawlessly. What kind of potato pc's do you have guys?

the game is totally playable for me, but i have a 4080 super. my fans kicked on a few times changing scenes, and if i tried to skip scenes holding down ctrl, it stutters and lags pretty bad. looking at the CPU/GPU while playing shows this game eating available resources far outside what it should. its not surprising people on lower spec devices are having problems

for comparison: this game uses 4x the GPU memory than marvel rivals, a 3D multiplayer UE5 game

is the game only up to third day? the game content ended at third day. since the game size is big I was expecting more content especially when the most cg are same repetation.

Thanks for your work, I really love it so far. One thing, however, bothered me a little. I find the pathing a bit strange.

For example, the best friend appearing so early feels odd. I would have preferred her to show up after the couple had settled into a routine and started struggling to progress in their games. It feels too soon, and I guess she's going to take the lead in the couple’s dynamic, which would have been great if it had happened later, when things started to become boring or repetitive.

Don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed it so far. The teasing on the beach was truly awesome, as was the slow teasing with terrace, etc. But that specific part left me wondering.

Regarding the Name, I should change it, it is not really 0.5.28, Since it has less content than 0.5.27, rather it would be BTW Remaster 0.2.5

I've tried to read some of the first pages of comments here but didn't find the answer to my question clearly. The game seem to be mainly focus on NTS and possibly a NTR path, nothing wrong with that. BUT, i'm not really into that (or to be precise i'm into it in a specific way) and since they are the romance tag, i'm curious of if the NTS is avoidable. I mean can we have a route with no sharing? I would appreciate the tension who can be in the game, it could be flavorful but i don't wanna share in the end.

Nothing wrong if the game isn't for me, i just wanna be sure. Would be bad to pass a potential good game (subjectively speaking) so it's why i'm asking.

PS: Main NTS game aren't as common as NTR so it's good that this game is here anyways.

Yeah same here. NTR should always be defined in the tags. NTS is a turn off for me as NTR is a turn on. It's really the opposite.

Unfortunately no, you cannot avoid sharing. It wouldn't be a problem for me if it simply wasn't an option. But if your character is afraid in a dream of Ayumi’s depravity with others, she will FUCKING LEAVE him. That is, these relationships are not based on love, not on sympathy and common hobbies, but on the fact that he accepts that Ayumi is a whore. Moreover, they will not just disperse peacefully, but Ayumi will call him “Same as others,” and in the end they will show him as a loser jerking off to porn. This ending killed all the chemistry between the characters for me and I'm not interested in playing the game anymore

I won't write an angry review because the author did a great job and it deserves a higher rating from others, but just...meh



P.s I like nts. It’s just that this ending made it clear that there is no sign of a healthy relationship here. And for me, good sharing must be combined with the warmth and love of partners for each other

Ayumi accepts MC's choice and doesn't leave or break up with him. She even comes home with dinner plans - but yes, something changes - she smiles less, teases less. That is the consequence.

The ending is titled "What We Hide in Shadows" specifically because it's about MC not being true to himself.

PS: Quick update - v2 of 0.5.28 just dropped. Mainly performance improvements (found and fixed a sneaky Ren'Py upgrade bug) plus made the memory scene a bit spicier️. If you already played, no need to replay.

It looks like I made a mistake because I missed the second half of this scene, the first part in a nightmare was too uncomfortable. I apologize for jumping to conclusions.

In that case, I must admit that you conveyed his fears very well and realistically. I myself was in a relationship similar to that of the main character, and in the end we took a step back, returning to the usual without problems. Personal experience intensified the sensations from that dream scene

the new version is a massive improvement in performance. i'm on a beefy PC so it was always playable for me, but looking at task manager it's using a fraction of what it was before

If you can angle your screen upwards, you can also stand by your desk and press space bar to move to the next line of dialogue or image. This is supposed to be hands free, to be clear. Some might want to move the keyboard closer to the edge, but I have no such issues.
