While it is not a business, he does have a patreon where it is implied that he is currently working on the game. It has been that way since his hiatus only to stop it for about 2 months, and then deliver 1 chapter. If this doesn't look someone just arbitrarily extending deadlines/underdelivering to collect more money, I don't know what does.
I would have no issues if he would just let people know, "Yo, I'mma put this project in the backburner for a bit", yet he constantly promised the release was just around the corner, and the wait was going to be worth it and what not.
It's borderline scamming.

or maybe hes in a different time zone? does he still have a few hours left to upload the update?

torimiata is on a speedboat in the pacific ocean, gunning it westward to stay within timezones where it is still friday the 31st, his laptop sparking and smoking trying to render the parallax on ari's pussy for the new update

probably use Starlink and the tori connection did not synchronize with the satellite

Has anyone played the update? How far does it go? I am not rushing to subscribe back to torimiata's patreon for obvious reasons, but I can't help my curiosity about how much was included in the update.

That's unlikely. Tori make a good job with removing all potentional leakers from subscribers with his more than half of year delay. All who left is devoted and unlikely will leak anything, because they hate people from this thread. I won't pay even a cent to Tori until he release 0.6 and stop breaking his promises

its not just new CG's, theres new scenes as well and a new point system.
so, even if he restart the story, he add to it. played the last update it felt new, not old.
not sure about this update, what kind of scenes he added. but I suppose its different so worth playing.
