I was part of his plan for very long time and was a Platinum supporter up until October, after which I lost hope and trust for the dev. I even have DM with Tori before asking for refund in October in which I explain him my position. I also was actively making many suggestions about game in august-october, but at some point I realize, that it is all meanless, because dev don't give a damn about our opinion. I understand that it is his game, but I am talking about your's "be part of the dev plan". It's just not working at all, man.

this is a decision Tori made. I have played the original and now the 2 updates and I don't find it bad at all.
and I find the 2-week release plan ok. its like we are continuously following the dev instead of getting a release every 3-4 months.

It is not what deal was about, man. Originally we talking about FULL release of remake/remaster when it would be done. After which dev begin to take paid subscriptions again. What we get instead? VERY slow release of remake splited in dozens of parts and paid subscriptions right from very start of it. 0.5.28 was like just PART OF SINGLE day of story. Not even full day or 2 days like with initial release. It is not even funny anymore. It just constant scam of blind people. If you want to support it nonetheless it is up to you. I don't have trouble with money. In fact I have several projects which cost me like 50$ each month, but I paid it because I get content I desire in response and see that these devs actually care about players. Even if there are some delays due to IRL reasons it is understandable. But I don't give even cent to one, who constantly lie and doesn't keep his promises and just makes all this things worse each time.

You could say I cry baby. OK. But it is only because in past it was my top-2 favourite project and it is very hard to realize that the dev himself killed his own project in my eyes.

Yeah, this is exactly what I am doing right now. But I will keep coming back here to warn people to think twise before support this dev.

I just want to say that I understand the criticism. Whatever Torimiata future updates will be, he would still receive criticism and backlash. When he made lesbian scene he got disapproval comments, and in the remake when he removed those scenes he got criticized (I haven't played the remake yet, so I don't know if the lesbian stuff were removed, but I found some comment complaining about it).

Same thing for the length of the content, at first people complained about being too long and now that is shortened people complained its too short (And yes I understand that since it hasn't been updated in almost a year there should have been a lot of content, and people have the right express themselves, but for me as long as the game is not abandoned and Torimiata still working on this project I will give him the benefit of the doubt).

Torimiata I don't know if you will read this comment, but I want you to know you that you have a good game, I don't know why you decided to remake it that is your decision and I respect it, but if you're doing it to please people it's not going to work, no matter how much you try you can't please everyone, and you will still keep getting backlash and worse because you will be a people pleaser, and at the end you would lose passion for the work. As long as the original concept of the game is still netorase you can write it however you want, I as a netorase fan I want to see the couple's journey and how that experience get them closer.
I know I talked a lot , so the last thing I want to say is as long as you keep the good work your loyal fans will have your back .

There were a few issues with the leaked version that got fixed soon after. You are likely playing that version. You can look at my previous posts for the link to 0.5.28v3.

Thank you for the comment! The remake wasn't about pleasing everyone (that's impossible, as you noted...). It was a creative decision because I truly believed it would make the project better in the long run and, development drama aside, the feedback has been great which gives me confidence this was the right choice.

It took way longer than expected to find the right workflow and define the strategy, but now I have consistent bi-weekly updates, clear direction, better technical foundation and a lot of exciting ideas for future content.

I won't blame people for having different expectations, but just like narrative choices, I will make decisions that not everyone will agree with. I will listen to feedback - as I did many times - but at the end of the day I will follow the vision for the project.

PS: Lesbian NTS still in! No idea what that comment was about!

Congratulations, this is the best opinion so far, everyone who defends tori is not taking into account the lies he told.

I think that the problem isn’t the fact that games are made using ai (ai has helped many creators in quality), but the real problem is that they aren’t game anymore if the only thing you have to do is click the screen to see the text of the next slide and see how the story go on, from my point of view a game should have things to do like missions, collectibles and things like that

The AI CG is getting better and better ( although not always checked enough ) the issue is that a lot of games are similar, makes me wonder if AI is also involved in the writing ?

I agree with you in that, I don’t really know if ai is also involved in the writing (probably, if yes that’s really sad because that means developers don’t have enough fantasy to made a great game)

Wondering how that will turn out, but about Kai the new character, god he was annoying, who cares about scientific facts about the pizza he delivered, how big of a nerd can you be! Anyway, already intregued how Ayumi will deal with this eye candy and how fun the upcoming party will be.

excuse my ignorance, because when I make the choice on "FEARFUL" the game then ends with END, I don't understand.

In the style of a lot of Japanese VN’s, the dev decided to add some bad ends. You just go back to that choice and choose the other option.
