It was an ok update. The reclamation scene was great, everything after that was mid. It was too much of a step down from the dressing room scene - that was why people disliked it that much. But the last scene in the club was gearing up to be something good.

DId you really play the remake or are you talking about the size in the original? Because in the remake it seems like a slightly below average 5 inch dick, which is fine for this game. I am not sure what are you talking about
Maybe you have played and read too much hentai if you think that something like Terrace is actually reasonable.it was teased as a big escalation and let people down. kazou ended up being a nothing character, terrace was gone from the entire party, almost all of the sex scenes were lesbian scenes, the greek stuff was out-of-place and didn't pay off at all, and then ended on a cliffhanger that was never resolved and the game got rebooted shortly after.

Party being not realistic is such a dumb argument. Sure I think it was downgrade from changing room but calling themed party not realistic is moronic. Kazou is some old rich guy who lives near a beach in a big ass mension, why do you think he or his parties need to be "realistic"

My issue with the party is that it 100% was a sex cult. Very, very weird.
I like slice-of-life games, so simple, everyday stuff, and those shenanigans seemed really out of place.

in the remake tori will have to redo that part or at least make ir better, at least the rework will make more sense to do it, now that the community says what prefers and what not..
I'm 100% with you guys on the party. I quite liked the idea of it, but I felt it really jumped the gun.
Hopefully Tori keeps it in but just paces it out a bit more realistically.

The party had some good ideas, the art portion is pretty nice cause that's one of the more unused scenarios in Hentai even if its popular in irl porn. I wish this part was a bit longer. Tbh idk if its because I enjoyed it more than the maze but the art section felt shorter than the maze lol this could be bias at hand.
The maze part was a missed for me personally. I'm not into futa/lesbian stuff so even the follow up part with Ari was a missed for me. The scenes are good though and if the portion of the community does enjoy it, I don't think Tori will change it up.
My main gripe will always be that Terrance wasn't as prominent in the party. And when he did finally showed up, we got blue balled.

I really liked it because it made the game feel unique and original compared to the "slice-of-life games" that are imo very common and this game should not fall into appeasing for mediocrity. Tori has very good writing, pacing and story board it would be really saddening to see it become a copy paste of already worn paths. I don't believe this is going to happen as I think Tori obviously has a vision. I also agree with that person that the party isn't unrealistic but I am excited to see what the changes have to offer!

it's valid criticism because the dev teased something and then didn't pay it off. so many NTS games end their updates on cliffhangers, and then the next chapter starts and the cliffhanger is quickly abandoned. in this case, the entire GAME was abandoned to remake it from scratch. this wasn't happenstance or an accident, it was an active choice of the developer.
this is my big criticism of the NTS genre right now. the devs are big on teasing, but when it comes time to ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING HAPPEN, they pull back, change course, or start devolving into remake hell.
at some point you have to conclude the devs are either unwilling or unable to complete the arcs they establish for their stories. unwilling = don't want to kill the golden goose, so they just tease forever to milk patreon, remaster infinitely, etc. unable = they only know how to write teasing and don't actually know to "pay off" the teases in a satisfying way, so they just write themselves in circles.

I think the toga party gets undue hate as the event right before the development pause, it basically femdom-style orgasm denied all of us and we're dealing with the trauma. There's a lot I read about in these games that I've never tried, but I've been to a ton of toga parties and they're a riot. The sex in every otherwise regular scenario is going to be amped up, because it's an adult game and we're all here for sex!
I prefer the public sex/exhibitionism focused stuff personally, but I also enjoyed the maze. My favorite part of that story was the tease element where the payoff was Ayumi showing up mid-scene behind MC (rather than the usual caught-in-the-act NTR ending). I know it was telegraphed way ahead of time, but I enjoy those "reaffirming" moments where the couple's activities are about doing kinky stuff for each other. In my opinion, Tori's writing shines because character motivation is deeper than The love interest acts the exact same as an NTR heroine, but the protag likes it. Whatever we get this time around, I hope that part of Ayumi's personality sticks and we gain a little more leeway as readers to guide her, kink variety wise.
