I like the concept of this game, even the out of nowhere TFs (i actually DO like monster girl TFs so was pretty excited about them)
But the recent change to abigail seems kinda out of left field, and kinda disrupts the game's premise a bit. The whole idea initially is that the player is "different" from the others, either being male or trans or just a weird lady or whatever. But now there's ANOTHER trans character that didn't have any indication of being trans before? And the reason is basically expodumped on you with no real explanation? Feels like a retcon and doesn't really sit well. Comparing Himari and Abigail's backstories just feels awkward now. Almost like they're written by two different people. Probably were tbh.
Clearly I don't have an issue with trans people if I'm playing this game to begin with, but I do have a problem with lazy retcons (and the fact that week 7 STILL doesn't have a punishment game and Katelyn still barely has a personality beyond "angry bitch", Erica still can't be trapped even though the game hints she can, there's no perk for getting Erica's relationship up, and the original conceit of getting characters kicked out of the game when they're fully bimbofied isn't really there anymore.)
Also don't know why the dev insists on so many puzzles. Why do porn/fetish games keep doing this shit? The "pixel finder" and chemical mixing makes sense since it's thematically on point, but the fae realm puzzles are out of nowhere and involve using a part of my brain I prefer to turn off when looking at sexy things.
Just have ONE gameplay gimmick. This is fetish/porn. If I wanted to play a number puzzle game, I'd fire up something like MYST or one of the huge number of free sudoku apps. And this is coupled with the RNG that's nearly impossible to manipulate unless you tank your score.
Like, the house cleaning "mini game"? Cool with that. Makes sense in context, and makes use of the game's systems. The massage "mini game"? also on point. The chemical mixing mini game? Also decent since it's quick.
But yeah this game is another victim of Patreon Poison and Feature Creep, and an example of why having a producer/director on a project is actually a good idea.
