Looks good and doesn't seem like one of those low effort Naruto games. The art feels like it has some soul, even though I hope it improves over time

Yes, so the overall update plan for the game is very important. (For this reason, the programmer I hired in the early stage has almost completed all the programming functions, and meanwhile, I have drawn all the maps to reduce the workload later and ensure smooth updates and completion.)
Regarding freedom, my idea is to fill more story content within a fixed framework. So my biggest challenge lies in the storyline. If the project goes smoothly, I will consider hiring multiple writers to incorporate both the players’ and my ideas to achieve a relative degree of freedom. (For a visual novel, this is the best approach I can think of.)
Well, if the protagonist was just an ordinary perverted pervert, the plot wouldn't be a problem at all, just pick your methods. But since he has a "special mission" and in general "everything is complicated", then of course it's worth finding people to whom you can shift this headache.)

zool_ Couple bugs (attached save outside the ramen shop at evening):
  1. Outside ramen shop at evening, time skip to night, click on the ramen shop, game quits to the main menu.
  2. Inside ramen shop at evening, time skip to night, click "Return", game soft locks as there's no way to get out of this dialogue:

All in all, a solid first game. Good to see use of 2D CGs without any AI.

Please, if you implement this, make it possible for the player to choose, not a fan of sharing even with clones.
Of course, my friend. Personally, I also wouldn't want the story to force this kind of plot.
