No it's not , you don't have to use tanuki , don't walk into fire balls and hand slash , run under him jump up 3 times

the version on here, all the CG (texts and stuff) is just blackscreened, and i can't figure out how to fix it. Even reinstalling or deleting player prefs doesn't help. It's an issue people are aware of (just check comments from the prior few pages), but not one with a solution so far.

I can play as mario fine, but i can't view any CG, not even in gallery.

I did a quick run and every scene i saw was blackscreened.
My 3.1 version of the 31 May (the version prior the one you have) work fine on my pc, with no blackscreen.
I suggest you try this one, even if it doesn't have some scene, most of them are here. You can find it on the official itch.io page if you want to.
(maybe we can tried mixing the two version to get the last scene to work but i didn't tried; if you do, tell me if it worked : )

has anyone figured out a way to bring the PoV scene with Bowser from 2.5 to the later versions of this game?
