It 100% will have a fair few uses down the line. One even next update. It also should be sellable, but theres a bug atm where for some reason it isn't. This should be fixed for the next update too though.

Branded Progress Update - 31/08/2025

Hey hey,
Another week, another update. First up I want to share a small teaser of an upcoming Irellia scene (as shown in the banner). I'm sure she's whispering nothing but friendly encouragement in Cams ear.
This week I did some work while on the discord in chat to be able to answer anyone's questions or just give a bit of a peek behind the curtain of how it's all made. It went super well and got a much better turnout then I was expecting. It was really great to get interact with fans and see just how much people enjoy the game as a whole! I was surprised by the amount of lore questions in general, but it was so fun to get to actually go into more detail on the world and how some things work or just general world building that I've not been able to get in the game without it being super ham fisted. Given how interested people were in that though, I'll be adding in some nice extra lore bits around the maps and maybe even some books you can interact with for those who are interested in that stuff. I'll also 100% be doing more of these calls in the future, which I'll announce in the discord when they're happening like I did with this one.
One of the big things that's been taking up my time this week is the bar revamp. So I want the bar to be an infinitely repeatable job that can be used to gain corruption or money for El. But I don't want it to hit a point after like 2 shifts there that you just see the same dialogue over and over and its basically just mashing through for stat gain. So to make it feel more fresh and interesting I've been adding in several rng elements to bar, shuffling who will be there, which conversations they'll be having etc. There will still be some instances you'll hit a "contents done here you just serve the table and move on" dialogue, but that will mostly be for instances like dealing with Tristan where there's an entire progressive route there in it's self.
Now I did unfortunately let scope creep take me slightly with this, and with the variety of the people and dialogues, so the bar is certainly looking to be a great spot to be able to repeat. BUT, I've been focusing art production on main content, so some of the scenes and things going on unfortunately will be using sprites not full CG's for the moment and I'll be adding the CG's (as well as some variety in the old ones so its not the same one grabbing scene over and over) over time.
Finally, I'll be doing some more sneak peaks and polls over the next few weeks, so look forward to those coming up!

I don't mind posting my weekly updates here too when I make them on patreon and subscribestar if you want me to save you the hassle of copying this over each week. Assuming it's something people would be interested in anyway. I only didn't before as I didn't want to feel like I was spamming people with updates here each week.
I really hope that this project doesnt become only the female character getting updates and the male character getting
left behind. It really rare to find men getting corrupted and stolen by other women from their wife or girlfriend that isn't sissification or femdom.

personally I like such Progress updates
it helps keep the project in your mind while making you exited about new content/direction
and looking very much forward getting to know my demonic Mistress some more
only thing I'm never sure how to feel is when Patreon locked stuff gets postet after a few minutes - doesn't apply here since your posts are public in the first place
we could have a poll here in the thread if ppl would like these updates to be postet
but in my personal opinion it wouldn't change much
someone will post them anyway, since not everyone frequents the patreon and only checks the updates/alerts they receive here
if posted by the official developer it could "look better" since it would not feel "leaked" (yes, I know what site this is)
on the other hand you could also argue that it could be seen as you not needing to do it, as few minutes as it would take anyway
personally I feel it boils down to if you "want" to do it yourself

No worries there, my aim is to always have content for both characters in each release (unless its a very specific focussed release but we wont see those for a long while until would be something like finishing a specific route.). In fact so far I think Cam has more content this next update, but it'll be much more even by the time it drops.

For me personally the Motivation to post (free) Devlogs here is to show my appreciaton to a Project.
As a freeloader on a pirate site I think the least I can do is letting fellow members know that here is a dev that takes his VN and the development serious and is transparent in what he is doing. So maybe it could lead someone to actually pull the trigger and subscribe.
In Addition there are too many newbies or other members who just go to the OP and straight up ask "abandoned???" just because there is no update since a few weeks. This leads more informed users to educate them and then sometimes that "conversation" leads to a whole mess.
If I can prevent that and keep the mood in a thread more positive by just posting a dev update I am Happy to do so if the project is something that feels worth it.
I think in general it is a sign that a project is well received and anticipated by the Community if people provide the devlogs.
One dev once thanked me personally and meant he could Tell a difference in engagement if devlogs are postet.

Yeah I supper appreciate you posting it here tbh as it always gave me a big smile to see someone cared enough to do so and share it. It also makes me very happy to see just how many people enjoy and engage with the updates and news (and of course the project in general). Genuinely so grateful to have the community I do, especially for a still new project.

I'll admit seeing the regular progress and professionalism from you on this site convinced me this was a project worth supporting and I subscribed. I honestly use F95 to gauge whether a project is worth backing, as there's so many and it can be hard to tell how consistent a dev is going to be or what the project is actually like.

Branded Progress Update - 07/09/2025
Hey hey!
Bit of a shorter update this week as I've taken a few days off for silksongs release. Hope all hollow knight fans are having fun with the new game too!
In actual dev news, I've been working on story content for both characters in multiple ways. Most notably implementing Irellias way of contacting you and making sure you're keeping your eyes on the right prize. With this I've not yet decided if I want to have her only reach out to you (in all senses) on her own terms, or if I want the player to be able to get into contact freely and make some spicy deals if they so choose.
Character wise, I've been advancing work on Jade and Cam's interactions and where that's going, while also starting the Jade and Elora events as well, which have a fun contrast to her and Cams. Elora's interactions will also be helping Jade but without the level of knowledge as to her intentions that Cam has from, well, being a victim of her thievery. Down the line this will also lead to some fun content involving all three should you be progressing Jade's stuff with both Cam and El.
Alongside this, Seren has seen some nice new events starting as well, which of course still links to the "main task" in Cams story at the moment, but will soon reach a point where Cam can freely investigate all the options on his own and Serens content will continue separately.
I've also taken on board a lot of feedback and general talks with fans, and decided to implement a diary system where you'll have an item in your inventory to be able to check the current stats for things like corruption and mana for each character. This means the player will have a much easier time gauging how close they are to certain choices and give much more transparency. I'd aimed to have a custom screen in the new UI to show these details, but seen as the new UI will be pricey and still a ways off, this should act as a nice middle ground for the mean time. Along side this, I'm planning to tie Cam's mana to his classes mana value too, so that it avoids any confusion when looking at the menu and it looks like he has full mana based on base rpgmaker stats.
Finally, I meant to post some sneak peaks and some follower polls this week, but in all honesty, I forgot and took the time when I wasn't doing dev work to play more silksong instead. Sorry about that, and I'll be making sure to post those sneak peaks along with some extra stuff this week to make up for it!

Branded Progress Update - 14/09/2025
Hey hey,
That progress time again. So we're hitting the crunch period as I keep wanting to add more. I've actually just wrote and rewrote this initial paragraph about 5 times as each time I realised I was saying something spoiling something about one character or another so instead enjoy this nice meta commentary on my inability to write the intro this week.
I've been adding more bits to Lady Redmane's content to push her to the first animated scene this week. I think lots of people will really enjoy what she has going on as well for both the spicy stuff and the lore/knowing more on who she is and what's going on.
Speaking of lore, I've had lots of fun interest in the games lore and goings on, so figured I'd add a nice little bit of game lore this week too. Specifically today I was asked about the lore connecting the elves and demons and the inherent racism and belief of them being "demon fuckers" so I figured it'd be nice to just add those details here too. It's also a snippet of some of the lore bit's I'm going to be added to locations in world over time for those interested.
Elves are very susceptible to demonic corruption as lots of old elven tribes made deals with demons when humans started encroaching on their lands and doing the whole colonizing thing. With these deals many generations of elves were born already of corrupted ancestors meaning there's an inherent demonic corruption in most elves already. This is also why when this corruption increases elves will transform into dark elves and much more easily fall to be slaves of demons due to the still lingering pacts of these old ones.
Of course not all elves are demon fuckers or worshipers and this is very much the sins of the father being projected onto the child. Or great great great grandchild in this case. As for El and Cam, whether they fuck any demons of course will be entirely down to the player.
Last week I also mentioned working out how I want to handle Irellia's content and interactions with Cam, as to if she should be contacting him or letting Cam reach out for some more dirty dealings. In the end I've decided to let you/Cam have the option to reach out and make these "demon" deals with her after she's made contact over the barrier. This won't mean however she won't also take the initiative. She will also reach out to offer praise or punishment as she see's fit to Cam from the level of progress he's making on finding the tome.
Finally, as you'll have seen in the banner, I want to tease the fun Charlotte scene coming in the next update. I'm sure she has absolutely no ill intentions at all.

It's only me on the crunch getting stuff in when I reference that (and I promise I'm not working myself to the bone, my son ensures otherwise

My two favourite girls with Cam so far are Charlotte and Seren, Seren's got that mischievous gremlin energy and Charlotte is deceptively devious. On the surface when you meet her she seems like a bit of a typical bichy airhead wanting the princess treatment, but with Cam she keeps asking these seemingly innocuous questions to gauge what type of girl he likes, how he likes his food, what his interests are. There's a cunning there.

Im so in hype for Charlotte's content. I love the way she wants to steal cam just for a little revenge, and i love how she wants to tease him or seduce him every times. I hope to play it soon, this game is so cool

Branded Progress Update - 21/09/2025
Hey hey all,
Incredibly short one this week as unfortunately I've been hit with a rough case of the flu that's wiped me from being able to work for most of the week. This could not have come at a worse time as I'm trying to get the last bits sorted in the game and everything tested.
I did manage to still get some work done and complete the Jen events for the next update which all focus on her corruption and giving in to her lust route where Elora gives her a "hand". You'll start to see the corruption take hold and Jen's personality start to bend to the whims of her lust which I think lots of people will be looking forward to seeing.
Other then that, I was hoping to be able to say "I'll have the update ready to drop for next Sunday for BLT tier and higher" but unfortunately the time and work lost to this sickness has set me back too much to be able to promise that. I'm hoping to only be pushed back a few days but I'll have a better idea of the release date in next weeks update. At the latest the update will drop two weeks today.
