Demo of Junk Record is out. Can't wait for somebody to translate it. Be seems like a big mechanic. I just started, well see. The demo is pretty good. It has an interesting Bad End mechanic.

Really like this game (I'm not opposed to WG, but it's great that it's not strictly limited to that). My main issue is it'll be like "Cup-size: A" and Lucy has breasts down to her waist. The writing doesn't suffer from this problem, just the statistics screen.

Definitely a bug, I loaded an old save before doing a new one for patch 0.7 and it was A cup when I couldn't see her knees. The differences between character sprites with same cupsize is funnily enough inconsistent too.

I did break the game's UI by this too, Lucy grew like 3 cupsizes per day (non-visual) without me feeding her, and the weight and breast sizes went off of the funny pink boxes. Cringe_Indeed this is probably something you know about, but very funny conceptually.

i have played it. its not a mechanic every fight but against certain enemy types. its a pretty good game. but i had to blindly go through it cause i cant read japanese.

Played through the original ver. already and it's definitely going into my list of top tier BE games, no EN is a little annoying but it has a nice amount of content for a free demo and the art is very good quality
Not sure whether the full game will expand more on the BE themes or focus on other h-effects like these types of games typically do but hopefully it does, author seems to post updates frequently on their twitter account:

it's made in RPGMaker so hopefully it's not too hard for a quick fan translation to be made,I just skipped through a few text boxes at once and then read them through the dialogue history using my phone's camera haha

Yes, sometimes I feel like there are more high-quality games about furry, weight gain, and pregnancy. It feels like they even get more frequent updates

Larger audiences = more people willing to put in the work.

Half the BE devs have realized there's so little competition that they can take several months off and still have a large following on Patreon because what other options are out there?

It's actually surprising that this niche is so unoccupied, because you can make decent money in it

It feels like there was a point a few years ago where a group of devs decided/realized it was fairly simple to make breast and body expansion games with Honey Select and a few of them did a great job with it, relative to the era and we got some really good content. And then all at once, all of them either really slowed down and/or stopped development on the games at the same time. Kinda weird. Maybe a Covid effect.

well, by the way, it's true, I'm currently playing Famished, Hazel's Journey, although the art is neural, but I like it, and it's fun to play, the partner system is a bit reminiscent of Baldur's Gate 3 and mass effect
