Must be, cuz the only indicator of getting marked I've ever seen were the status symbols.
I'm having trouble raising my 'Inmates Reputation', I'm on day 35, I've beaten Avy in the arena, I'm currently breaking both Tavi and Rahi and no one messes with me, but my inmate rep just refuses to rise above ~50% on level 1.
Anyone else who's having this issue, or am I just stupid?
(also no mention of how to raise any of the reps in the dev log...)

You can raise your inmate and staff reps by winning fights with inmates and staff (its a bit iffy for inmates though not all fights raise it).
The other two reps are sex related. Though exhibitionism will raise slut rep occasionally as you pass people.

me too , for now you have to be the slave of this fucking cat for advance the story ....
about the fetish , no , ther is now way to change them yet
unless someone create a mod for that , but ther is not

Speaking of properly training people are we ever gonna get a fully submissive Avy. I just think it's funny that if you complete the coliseum first and use her a bunch, any scenes that she shows up in has her covered head to toe in jizz and having a bloated stomach...kinda ruins the bad bitch image she's trying to project.
I think there should be another route even though it wouldn't be my bag, I love her current route and would love to do more with her being that way, but I get that's not everyone's thing. But to be fair, there is A LOT of "I can enslave and train" npcs in the game considering there is an entire system built around it and several npcs with that path but a lot less of being trained/enslaved. I think this game wants to cater to both audiences and switches.

I cranked up my level to something stupid high, but now all the inmates and the guards that aren't scripted are also the same level. Is there any way to turn that off?
I don't really understand why a game about being in a prison is turning into a slave management game. Aren't there other games that solely focus on that already?

We'll see, I checked the github and it looks like there's going to be "auctions" next update. If that's referring to slave auctions then I'd say you have all rights to talk down on the system. Slave systems themselves aren't bad, it's just what do we do with them? Having a permanent bed warmer is cool, but keeping more than one slave doesn't really accomplish anything.

This is equal parts promising and tedious so far. Kind of funny how NPCs will do things like knock you unconscious and then get mad that you're not listening to their commands. Or they'll choose to milk you despite hating lactation, then complain that they weren't satisfied afterwards.
The animations are a cool touch, pretty well done. I also quite like how both the player and NPCs can initiate stuff. More than anything I wish pregnancy was a little more like TiTS or CoC, or at least that it'd come up in dialogue more often. All the perks are about not getting pregnant which doesn't feel like a perk to someone like me lol. Would it be worthwhile to cook up a mod? Would be fun to expand on the birth mechanic a little.
