Pros
Cons
I've made a post in the thread (click here to see) going over the details of the cons, but honestly, I don't expect most peeps to notice such details, or even consider them flaws. Could easily be argued they're my own personal gripes.
I'm honestly tempted to give this intro a 5/5 rating, but I do feel the writing to be strangely vanilla, mainly because of the clash between trying to give nuance to the world, but not to the MC (or random npcs).
Good luck to the dev(s), there's promise with this.
Pros
- Decent grammar
- Fairly well-paced introduction
- Interesting array of characters, so far
- Subtle but notable world-building
Cons
- Non-central characters are written as throwaway npcs.
- Key scenes are slightly generic
- World-building conflicts with character writing.
- Character development/relationship choices feel railroaded.
