Typical storyporn games seem like the easiest cashgrab since there are so many people willing to pay, that screws things for those that actually want to make a good game

well it seem like their patreon page is active again. they made a post hiring developers to port this to steam 2 days ago, hopefully it makes some headways.

There were so many radical revisions to this game, both gameplay and content-wise, I wouldn't know what version to go back to. In the end it seemed like they started to cop out of their original concept and begin a narrative approach like most sex games.

I liked the game and the idea of nsfw stories during a sim game. I think that many games types of renpy are abandoned due to resources/time. They are developed for many years - people change, maybe families made. This means that the cost of living must be covered to do that. However, if it is a fun project, maybe they must have open source the code and call gamers/dev/artists to help them for free. I think, if devs try to live from nsfw games, it is very hard. A lot of options (porn sites, porn comics, porn whatever). Their best shot is to go open source and call for helping hands. They may sell "Art", tshirts or whatever in order to make money, except patreon and donations. This is my opinion.
