Recommending Butter's Ultimate(?) Wholesome Games/Doujins List! (a la VoltageFlame) || Also a Discussion and Recommendations Thread! (UPD: 10/18/24!!)

Most of these are pretty obvious (incest), but for some of them I can’t easily find what’s unreviewable (by my standards) with them. Any chance you could put the tag that doesn’t fit with me (eg. Futa, shota, incest, yaoi, yuri)? Thanks!

I'll try to break a few down, but as I have not played the games fully I might mislabel some.

(I'm going to use ? = unsure, * = potential/optional, and *? = uncertain if it's optional and make use of this for future recommendations)

Feminist F-ist Is quite simple as nnt1996 pointed out it contains rape or at least so say the tags I don't remember much of the game other than the fighting dialog gave me a good laugh. I think most if not all scenes are bought with money earned after the fight so it can be avoidable, but then it's just a fighting game where you strip your opponent. (Rape*?)

Introducing An Apprentice Incubus game seems to have some "romance", but I really can't get myself to play these games at the moment so I have little experience with it. (Rape, Reverse Rape? Loli, based off tags Futa/Trans, and Shota? It depends on if you would call the protag a Shota or not) idk why I initially included it other than the slightly fluffy dialog I saw at times.

Nemurimouto Just adding this one again to give a bit more substance. The game feels empty atm (it is v0.06) so some scenes seem to be near obvious rape, but then others are too absurd to be real and make me skeptical. All scenes should be "optional" as they would need user input to initiate (or so I think), but also some aren't as obvious.

Now the SEQUEL games (that I have played) are a mixed bag, but they all share one tag (Reverse Rape) They do have some nice dialog and romance routes/"endings", but they are a powder keg of different fetishes so user/consumer/player be warned.

I hope my breakdown was enough and I'll try to add the more sketchy tags at the end from here on out.

For future reference should I add the tags at the end of my review such as

or is the way I have done it now acceptable? (I'm leaning more toward the new format personally)

Also, I don't know if games found on Itch are fine as Goddesses' Whim (Loli?) or maybe Living in Viellci (Loli and the game is heavily in-dev so art is changing at times) MIGHT work, but most are just Renpy + Koikatsu VNs that I would need to scrape into for "proper" tagging and honestly I have very little drive/motivation for doing that rn.

Thanks for the games, I do remember that Goddesses’ Whim appealed tome at first, but just a little too much harem shown in the front page to get me to download it. Living in Viellci is a game I’m saving for later- thanks for reminding me!!
Also just remember, I’ll try to include any game with romance (maybe just not in the highest tiers) no matter the tag UNLESS it’s ntr, so it’s fine if the games don’t perfectly fit. Though also, if the game has no plot it’s probably going into mid tier as long as it has clearly consensual scenes.

Yeah, I’ll check here first next time. I got it from a thread with some guy saying it was pretty cute and similar to teaching feeling, so I spent the next 6 hours trying to find a way to not let her die while also not having to literally rape her.

Goodbye Eternity - Has corruption route where you whore your mother and get involved in mafia or something and turn one of the girls into something horrible, I don't remember what it was but it was optional. The problem is the whole game only has 2 scenes and they are quite far and one of them is in the corruption route so it is a slow burn but I think it has potential but for now I don't recommend it at all until enough content is added.

BDSM Apocalypse - OK... The art is great and the story is good. But the gameplay has a big problem, it puts you on a map and you're lost looking for zombies for hours in a mission and don't know exactly where to go. If you're willing to spend some time exploring for a looooong time, and I mean that, give it a try, otherwise the other aspects are fine. I only saw one shot of sexual content, I think it was a blowjob even though I spent a lot of hours on it, but expect female dom like footjob later on.

I tried Masters Of Raana and it's good. It gives you all the control over what you do, I don't know if there are conditions imposed on you, but I think it's okay to try it. Keep in mind that it's a game designed to kill your time, so you can play it for dozens of hours and most of that is to learn the game mechanics because it's a bit complicated. The game is not wholesome by itself, you make it wholesome by controlling what happens in it. It better to ask crnisl he knows the game better than I do.

I haven't tried Love and Corruption but it sounds wholesome if you don't mind harem.

Love & Corruption is already on my list- and it IS the most wholesome rpg game as of yet. Harem is optional there so I'm fine with it.

Roughly speaking, you can either break a girl to make her work for you (as a prostitute or whatever) through punishment and bdsm, or gradually make her fall in love with you through compliments/gifts/wholesome sex and other stuff (like getting victories together with her in your team, if she's a fighting type). Then you can marry her (several wives is possible, depends on the mc's religion), and so on, rise your children, etc.

Breaking is more profitable - though there're lots of different ways of getting income in the game, and instead of managing a brothel, you can do crafting or raiding. On the other side, once a girl trusts you, she will tell you more of her backstory, and eventually it's leading to some quests - about going to some forgotten vaults, raiding bandits who wronged her in the past, like that.

aww, that sounds super cute!! I'll check this out then- a system like this is something that I've always wanted in a game (love & Corruption does this, kinda but less so)
