I stumbled upon this method by myself when I was testing something else, if it's already a known method and was posted here I apologize.
Requirements:
Step 1: Reach Mega's limit (pretty easy)
Step 2: Right click the network button in the system tray and click 'Open Network & Internet Settings'
Step 3: Click 'Change Adapter Settings'
Step 4: Right click the adapter you're currently using and click properties
Step 5: Uncheck 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and click OK
Step 6: Go back to MegaSync's transfer list, the download should start again, if not pause and resume and it should continue downloading
Step 7: ???
Step 8: Profit
!!! PS: While IPv4 is deactivated you might not be able to navigate some websites and other services. You can try activating it as soon as your download starts again but sometimes you get the Exceeded Data message again.
If this worked for a few hours and you reach limit again you might be able to do the same but deactivating IPv6 and only using IPv4 for the download, I never needed to download something that big so I never tested if it works that way.
Requirements:
- MegaSync (the application, not the browser extension)
