Well, the thing is I kept trying to hover over the ship to find a way to visit the bridge instead of clicking the wheel. Dumb, I know, but I'd clicked the wheel when in my room so I thought it was the "go to main map" button and never hovered over it while in the main map. Again, dumb move, sorry about that. Should be fine now.
Not dumb at all, it's something I hadn't considered...

I'll have a think about how to improve on this for future so it's more clear.

Np, if you really want to change this, changing the icon in the cabin from a wheel to a miniature of the ship or something like that should do the trick.

Good idea! I'm doing some work on the locations at the moment anyway (day/night changes) so can capture it then

General progress update.

The captain's sprite has been updated in-line with the new art style. Which also means poses and expressions

The next NSFW scenes have already been started along with some UI improvements including day/night changes for locations. After all, even if the weather is perfect that shouldn't mean it's peak sunshine at night!

Following feedback from players I'm also going to review the quest progression system. At the moment it's not always clear on how to proceed with certain characters so it's really easy to get stuck.

Scene 1 of 2 for the next build. Will be exploring this as a repeatable scene with different outcomes/choices.

I found this game incredibly frustrating without a walkthrough. Quite a grind. I tried again and again to fulfill the various requests, but kept just going around in circles.

This has come up a few times, so the next build I'm trying to make the quest log hints more descriptive so they're actually of use. I'd prefer to make something that naturally flows without the need for a walkthrough but I might start putting one together anyway.
Going forward the need to interact with multiple characters and their quests simultaneously should reduce as the introduction stages pass so less need for a mechanism to make you "find" new people.

Hope you'll give it another chance in the next build

Sadly, sandbox games generally require a WT. Unless the tips given from dialogue/journal are in your face, people will keep missing them.

Development on-going for build 0.6.0

Two new character sprites added, Claudia our casino worker and a guest on the ship.

Another date scene with Emily with sticky results.

Other progress includes more sound effects and swapping out the .png for .webp to keep the file size smaller.
It shouldn't be noticed for users but seems to be reducing file sizes to about a third of what they had been in .png so just seems more efficient to do so, rather than having the game balloon in size.

Next up, replace Leona and Serena sprites in line with the new art direction.

Target release date is before end of February.
