Is there any other way to get Marintas's Charm besides through the Merchant Escort quest? I missed out on it and regret it now...

how the heck do i leanr the spells (pocked dimension lgihtning etc.) she just get's a headache from reading them and there aren't any spots in the house for studying (and library study only grants int)
Ayy, nice. Both the sequel and it being made via Ren'py. RAGS has providied a bunch of porn games I've enjoyed over the years but man does each passing year further highlight how poorly it has aged.
Anyways I'll continue to hold off of this until we get the 1.0 version. I've been waiting patiently since probably pre-0.15 and at this point sunk-cost fallacy on the time spent waiting has hit pretty hard :V

The main story might be finished within the next 3-4 months. I have been slowly making progress on it while I worked on scenes and other things, and the final chapter is close to 40% complete. We'll see how much I can finish outside the main story in the same time frame.
If you get that message is because your intelligence is too low (you need at least 60 to study spells). You should still be able to study at the mage's guild library to raise INT, and if you didn't use him yet, you can get a small boost in intelligence by visiting the hypnotist at the circus (this becomes less effective the more you use it). If you have the "bimbo" trait, your max intelligence is 60, so you have to manage things strictly for a while, if you want to learn these spells.
I kind of like RAGS even now, or rather the way it structures games, but yeah, I can't really use it. Not only it looks awful, but I'd have no future support for it, it's just too risky for anything beyond small games nowadays.
You know, devs have a tendency to under deliver while being behind schedule, so who knows how long you'll have to wait... ;p
Does anyone know how to exorcise the ghost in the Ghost and Harlots quest? I've been searching and I can't find the courier. I already went to the temple and gained the memories of the ghost.
If you really really really want it and don't mind a bit of cheating you can use RpgMakerSaveEdit to active it.

i think i read something about pregnancy toggle or something like that? which implies it's not default possible except bad ends... if so how do you do so

The First Oasis Bar is FAR too well hidden, i finally found it, but this hunt was ridiculous the h scenes guide could have told me it was a ''secret'' entrance by that an unseen door, but a side entrance ugh. spent 30 minutes running around for it

There is a Santhora temple in Tarkas (the main city), you can pray there (there is a shining spot in front of one of the pews), and you can pick a few options for the pregnancy (including if you want them or not).
I actually thought the signs and the plants would be enough to signal the entrance. I'll add a small path to it. It wasn't meant to be hidden, after all.

Hopefully the walkthrough gets updated soon, got a few questions, 2 for the next update and 3 for now.
The current update questions are, where does the hypno path start? and who is the hypnotizer? And where is Highrock and when does that quest start?
The future update questions is, where and when will I meet the spider demon? And when is the public update plan for 0.987 happening?

If you mean the hypno lessons, just visit the hypnotist at the circus, he should offer you the opportunity to learn his skills (read: self-hypnotize), which then unlocks a couple of scenes around the game (I'll probably add one or two more in the future). He has plenty of hypno scenes other than the lessons, and he is generally the fastest way to gain new traits.
I didn't update the number in the walkthrough, but all quests should be already listed there. It is missing any extra info on visiting Highrock after the quest, but you can CTRL+F for "Highrock" and find the associated quest. Simply go to sleep and visit the next day to enter the town and see the new content there (mostly it's two Naris moving in a previously locked house, and you can get involved with them).
I update the public version with 1 month delay compared to the patreon version, so it's going to be about one month from now, to see the new scene with the spider lady. The final scene with her also isn't in the game yet, so you'll have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for that one. XD

So i would go to the old slum church to get the new spider demon scene when 0.987 is out, or will it happen elsewhere? Just like to know so i'm ready when it happens.

question, how do you reach rank 3 with mage or adventurers guild? i've completed all available quests for each...
could ''angering'' the noble boy during the adventurers ''slut party'' have an effect? the one where the guild had to send two women to the noble for the party where you meet lady pendleton. the noble wasn't happy after all. so could that affect progression into rank 3? i bet the ruins also affect it right?

Yep, you'll have to go to the same church (you might need to go to sleep and wait for the next day, in case the scene doesn't trigger).
Did you check the walkthrough to make sure you completed all quests for them? You should actually be able to reach rank 3 within both, if you do everything (some quests can provide extra reputation depending on how you tackle them). If the noble at the end isn't happy, you don't get reputation from the quest, that's correct.
You need 8 reputation points to reach rank 3 (currently, the max available rank). The mage guild has a theoretical maximum of 14, while the adventurers have it at 13 currently. As you guessed, the ruins also affect the reputation (if you are a member of both guilds, you must lose 1 reputation when you pick your side, and the side you pick gets +2 rep), and if you are involved with any of the other factions, you'll also be unable to complete the quest properly, since you can't retrieve the eye for a guild.
I can't confirm the method (VX Ace doesn't officially support mobile, so you need 3rd party software), but here is what another user was mentioning a while ago:
