Ren'Py - Completed - Camp Klondike [Day Seven] [Swimsoot]

A VN that is definitely out of the ordinary, but in the best way. If the graphics will certainly put off more than one, the creator largely compensates this aesthetic " flaw " by an interesting scenario and an almost perfect rhythm.

The faces are particularly well done, and all the characters seem to have their own identity, a welcome change in the VN universe. Some animations are really worth it, despite obvious technical limitations.

My only negative points are some dialogues at the beginning of the game, which seemed almost random... and the design of MC's penis!

A very good piece overall, that i'm enjoying greatly.
Maybe add some more kinks and fetishes ?

The writing in super hot. 6 out of 5.
Visuals are little simplistic, but that totally works.
Great to see so many different body types and personalities.
The plot is 100% linear (so far at least, I'm on day 2), and that's exactly how I like it.

Just found this game and it is fan-fucking-tastic. The clever banter, the pacing and effects used in the scenes , the overlap of character's faces, the thought that went into facial expressions. the dramatic pauses in the dialogue, the sound effects, the humor. This game is a gem.

And I can't explain why but the primitive art style actually adds to the sexiness of the faces rather than detracts from it. If the bodies were a little better it would be perfect. And the story is filthy, but has heart and sincerity.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Art is super unique, which is always appreciated (since renpy games do tend to be plagued with the same 3d models). A diverse cast of characters with unique quirks, but with everyone seemingly exploring their sexual preferences. Whilst the decisions do appear to be linear at times, this can be overlooked since I quite like where the plot is heading anyway. Additionally, the fact that the game can pull some of the hottest scenes without actually having penetrative sex in it (e.g. Mer and the protagonist on the bunk bed) indicates at just how well made this project is so far.

A very unique and very sexy game and very well written on top of that.

All the girls have a unique attractiveness, I wouldn't mind having my way with any of them, but Merit and Schuyler are the top girls.

This game took me for a suprise I thought this would be a boring point and click with full quests and demanding choices, but it was actualy quite fun, and I love the fact each girl have a unique body including the shape of their pussies and pubes. I hope the MC will start to be less shy.

This is one the best games I have ever played on here. Good writing, nice character work, and steamy scenes. Camp Klondike is different, new, and interesting. You haven't played something like this game before. Hat's off.

A few reasons you might like this game:

• If you want girls (and guys!) that feel and look like real people, not dolls, this is a great game for you.
• If you like people discovering their sexual preferences.
• If you are looking for slower building (not drawn out either), and well done, tense, sexual scenes, you will like this game.

The only thing I would say as a negative is that the art style may not be to everyone's taste. But this game has a unique style, and commits. No generic assets you have seen 1,000 times in Camp Klondike.

The story is meh, the constant sexual innuendo are really cringey as well as the dialogs. The art is "peculiar", you like it or not but i think there's no middle ground here.

Most infuriating thing is we play an adult game but the mc have the brain of a 12 year old.

TLDR: Don't bother with this game, the princess is in another castle.

This game is just different to others, in a positive way! Not another game using almost similar character models, but a fresh new art style combined with very engaging writing. Definitely try it, one of the most underrated games of the platform.

The art style is good, sandboxy parts are not annoying, there is no grind...

But, guys, the dialog is fantastic. The setting allows for a reality to the whole sex coming quick aspect.

This is a well conceived, well written, erotic as all hell game.

I can't think of another game that gets the sexy talk as right as this.

While the animation could be smoother, the writing and art style are top notch.

The characters are a bit too exaggerated and the porn arrives a bit too fast, but they all feel like lived-people (as in they all seem like they have inner lives and are not simply there to be sexual objects for the protagonist).

The characters really come alive because of the moving art style and humorous writing. So much talent on display here.
This is how adult dialog should be written. I find myself actually becoming interested in the characters which is rare.

Worth playing game deserves more attention. Nice plot game got sandbox elements but not grindy. Many may dislike the art style by saying it's poor quality, it's cartoonish etc. But what I liked the most in the game is it's artsytle. It's unique. And the game is fun filled with humor. Overall it's a good underrated game which truly deserves more attention in this site. If you haven't tried this game yet. Surely try this it's fun. Looking forward to next updates

Wow, what an amazing game! This is really one of those few games that you find only once or twice per year. The visuals and the story aren't even exceptional but the game is unique, authentic and very original. And unfortunately that's rare nowadays.

I especially loved the art style. It's something I've never seen before in any other game and even though it's a bit quirky at times, it's also very refreshing. Despite the fact that the game doesn't have any 'real' animations it looks very good because of the moving images in combination with the excellent use of sounds and voices.

The general setting (horny summer camp) is far from unique, but the quality of the story and dialogue definitely are. Characters act like real people with realistic and diverse personalities. A believable backstory makes them even more likable or annoying and overall the whole dynamic feels just right. The story has a nice pace and the build-up in some of the lewd scenes was intense and pretty damn hot!

So in conclusion: no real criticism and highly recommended if you haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the great game dev, you have my support!

Oh, my freaking god. This is amazing!

I first was thinking, ok another "visual" novel - a book with some pictograms.- pages over pages of text without any visual story telling. But no, these are normal human dialogs but fleshed out a lot more than anything I have seen here on f95 so far.

The best part is simply the story and the build-up. I laughed so hard at times. It is funny, sexy, and smart. Just an all-around well-defined package.

I would urge any person to play this. It's so damn sexy. Even if you're only here for the pictures. This will change your mind ;-) . (unless you are some orc just trying to find a hole...)

PS: First review ever, because this deserves a medal. And I've had plenty of experience on f95 so far. This really deserves more attention.

I really like the story telling. I think it's the best I have seen so far in any game here. There are a few hot scenes in the game (current version 3), and 1 scene might be the hottest I have seen in any game.

The game is heavily text driven, do not expect any great visuals, the visuals are there to support the story only.

It's the little details that do they trick.
Like the Europe girl who makes some mistakes in her English.
The small font for whispering, and the large font for screaming.

A great Visual Novel, highly recommended.

Unique art, excellent story and very good build ups. There is a good variety of characters each with a clear and distinct personality. The world feels 'real' in the sense that you can see the creator has put thought into it.

One of best VNs I've ever played, laughed out loud to some of the early dialogue.

Excellent writing throughout, quirky but well done models/animation.

I saw some other reviews didn't like artistic choices with the overlapping images, personally I loved them and understand exactly the parody you were going for... agree they were slightly overused and it made it visually cluttered.

Main lewd scenes are top quality.
Can't stress how well these were written, I haven't seen writing this good out of any other games in years, especially not from a developers first game.

MC is perfectly dorky, cast we've seen so far is solid.

Free time scenes could use some work, however considering this is an early release it is an excellent start and will check back as this progresses for sure.
