No idea. Have you tried downloading from one of the mirror sites?
I can´t refuse a request from Merit.
I did downloaded through GOFILE and had no problem unpacking and running the game.
update I tried to download the full version again and got the same result not sure why. but the compressed version worked just fine.

So glad! (I'll watch for others who may have the same issue.) In the meantime, jump in and please report back how it goes for you good bad or ugly. LOVE to hear feedback even in the middle of the game.
Finally finished it. Congratulations on completing the game; it's definitely within my Top10 completed games on this page ...

Sometimes I felt it leaned a bit too much into its artistic style/writing for my taste (esp. towards the end, but I'd have to go back to the beginning to double-check on how different it really is ^^), and The End scenes I thought were a little perfunctory, but on the other hand, I'm also not sure what'd have wrapped things up with more of a fancy bow.
Anyway. Good characters, good writing, nice and unique art. Shame it didn't get more traction but what can you do? Is what it is with these things.

Yep! I'm glad you had a general amount of fun with it. The art is definitely an acquired taste and I do lean into a specific kind of dialogue, but it's good to know it was still worth your while. Thanks for the note!
Idk if it has anything to do with the fact that I have a wild ass imagination (prob something from reading a lot) but for me the writings just drive things most of the way. BUT, with just a tiny bit of illustrations (and this game is anything but tiny - hat off to you), I can treat this whole thing like a movie.
But i digress. I just wanted to say that your game is great
, hope you continue, would definitely support if I'm able to.

I am using joiplay on Android (compressed day 7 version of the game) and I can only play till the beach peek scene where the whole game freezes. The Same happens with the android apk. Specifically after the image 1776.jpg, the line being "Think of it, [y], ever since you were thirteen you wanted to look."
P.S : Another user before mentioned something about the movies being in the ogv format but it still freezes even after deleting all the ogv files. Is the compressed version missing some images ? Or is it necessary to download the full game ?
