Random in your version of the game, but a recent patch made it much much easier to unlock all monster girls. It hasn't leaked here yet, but it's available on my Patreon.
First make sure the alchemy table has been unlocked (by doing the main story)
Then go to Katey's shop and purchase a "Alchemy Comic Book", check your inventory to read it and it should unlock the recipe

Is there any way to get hurt in the endgame? At this point my camera recharges every night and I can't seem to fail the monster fights.

No, It just takes a lot of farming and luck. I managed to get after about 10 minutes of straight farming. Just keep at it.

Liking the game a lot so far, but a couple of bugs for the dev to be aware of. (If they aren't already fixed in a version that hasn't made it here)
So I'm pretty sure I've got all the camera upgrades, but the "Yo Ho Ho" quest isn't marked as completed and it's still telling me to collect 20 pictures and return to the captain even though I have way more and I'm like 40% into the main story. I think it might have bugged out because the first time I interacted with him I ended up being able to get pretty much all the upgrades at once without leaving the menu and that stopped some trigger from registering.
EDIT: The quest completed after the 4th upgrade before Isabella, but the quest hint of 20 photos never changed until the end, and in the menu it now reads "your camera is now at [cameraCharge] / [cameraMaxCharge]."
In fact speaking of the Captain, you can sequence break the game in Amber's demon quest by just going straight back to work with her the next day after the first time you try to free the demon instead of getting the camera upgrade from the captain first. The game just lets you do it.
Also I don't know what the exact trigger is for this, but if your camp corruption is a high enough level and you go behind the bathrooms in morning/noon, it gives you a random prompt to continue an unrelated character quest. I only got the prompt twice, and I haven't been able to repeat it since, so I have no idea how it happened or what happens if you click it since I never tried.
Also Emma's sprite seems to be bugged and lacking chest detail in some costumes. In fact a few costumes seem bugged. I even got an error traceback message for trying to equip the underwear outfit for Laura.
