It was a really old game that was mostly translated except for the menus.
You play as a doctor looking after what I think was your sister, she has a massive infection where monsters are inhabiting her body, so to fight them you "inject" her with a mini version of herself. You then fight the monsters and collect parts from them, you can then swap these parts to the mini her for upgrades (ie swap human head for bunny head or shark head). you fight and cure her body parts one at a time.
you also have a lab were you can make upgrades from the recycled duplicate parts (I remember it being called junk in the translation) (untranslated menu so i never knew what the upgrades were for)
The game also had a nice path menu that showed which path you were on. boss monsters also had special scenes on loss.
