A cute little time killer, and a reminder for me to never step foot into a real-world casino.
There's nothing wild or crazy with Casino Cuties, just a basic collection of casino games including poker, blackjack, five card, and roulette. All the games run perfectly fine, although the dealer AI on the poker game could be a bit more aggressive when the player goes all-in. I mostly stuck to blackjack and five card (anybody who's played Mario 64 DS will feel right at home with that one) since I'm not super great with poker or roulette, but I did get sucked in for a good couple hours.
The art style for the game is phenomenal. All the characters have that mature yet cutesy aesthetic that I really like, and the ability to buy clothing (including birthday suits) for them with the money you earn from winning games is a really nice addition. While I do have to ding the game for only having one h-scene at the current moment (non-penetrative, mind you), it is really freaking good. The animation is some of the smoothest I've ever seen in an h-game, which gets me excited for what's to come.
If you've got some time to burn and don't have anyone to play cards with, you really can't go wrong with this game. Will happily be watching for future updates.
