looking for games with a casino type setting where players can gamble but get tempted to lose, might be niche but like the bunny girls in tower of alfimiya for example.

SmashBoy from Exsessm has a casino of that sort, although the casino is just an option in the menu, and there is only one (somewhat long) scene (Not all bunnygirls are malicious). There is also Trials in Tainted Space, which has Lane living on Tarkus, but the game is so vast that, as was mentioned, "Not sure if it's worth checking out for that alone"
