The more stuff gets changed the higher chances get something breaks. Giving potions and books their own filter was enough for old saves to burn.

Sorry about that. Animations take a lot of work and resources and unfortunately I possess neither the talent nor the funds to add them to the game at the moment

got a question, i played this game before (my last save was from version 0.09 PC) was there an update along the way that no longer makes such old save files compatible?
i'm gone start a new save anyway since i don't remember to much about the story but just curios if that's the reason my preview save file crash the game on reload

Yes many updates, basically the last version that was supported was 0.17 we are now on 0.21

Well, this is my first game and I started from zero with near to no experience or proper planning, which is a big drawback on my behalf. One of my biggest mistakes, I think, was to expand the game too quickly. I think, in the future, once I clean up some of the loose ends, one of my main objectives would be to develop step by step, stick to a character, finish his or her content/story/quests and what not, then move on to the next. And as I have mentioned this multiple times before in multiple posts, this is a learning process for me. I was not, and maybe am still not, really familiar with the preferences, likes and dislikes of players. I'm trying to create a balanced game which can be fun for a wider range of people and not be limited to a few specific tastes. I have had people criticizing my game for not having a female lead; I have had people imploring me to make it darker or make it more NTR; at the very early stages of development I had people criticize me just for the one NTR scene which was Nalla and the Baron. So, not to bore you with too many details, I have to say I'm learning and I'm really trying to improve...I mean, man I didn't even know what NTR was when the first person on this page asked me "does this contain NTR?" and to be honest I'm still a bit foggy on what falls into NTR category and what doesn't.
I appreciate any support I can get, and I have always been respectful and open to the players' comments and requests.

Yep, the dev tries to improve stuff without breaking saves but sometimes it can't be helped.

You are done for. You either have to deal with it or start a fresh save.

She is always in the manor as long as you don't side up with the true Baroness. After that she is either in a house in the village or in your own manor.

You have to take one of the many water buckets in the world and take it to the water in the cave. If you entered the cave and you either didn't pick up a bucket or use it somewhere... better luck next time.^^'
