So does siding with the humans when they raid the village lock you out of anything? The walkthrough doesn't really mention anything.

That really depends on what you did beforehand:

No matter what, you get a quest on the Beast route to turn the Orchard into basically your own future harem, which doesn't amount to anything much yet.

If you killed Kaali, Mountana is a pain in the ass, though it's kind of broken regardless.

If you spared Kaali, the Beast route opens up a lot more and you get to hang out in Mountana. Of course that means you get to keep banging Kaali, but you also get access to a literal fat pig (if that's your thing), get info on the Witch for your "origins" quest, and in the future it looks like you'll be able to seduce the Beast King's Secretary (though let's be honest, there are still characters with "gift/flirt/clothes" menu options that have been sidelined since 0.2X).

I don't think the Human Route has any characters locked behind it yet? It looks like the Queen and Ophelia will be, but they appear to be further from implementation than other characters (PURE SPECULATION ALERT). Honestly if they become available that would make running a second save for the Human Route worth while.

If you killed Kaali, Mountana is a pain in the ass, though it's kind of broken regardless.

You don't kill her, you leave her behind. If you enter Mountana on human path you will face her and she's pissed.

Brilliant game. No one warned that it's better not to mine metal on the floor below, because the stones will return to their place and eventually block you. Now you can't sleep, because it's a quest location, you can't move the stones, and you can't reach the reset switch. BRILLIANT!

Do I have to achieve "origins" (not present in the walkthrough) and / or "Path or the Beast" to get "Far from Home" as the commander still tell me to get lost even after Marigold

I havent played this one in a long time, but I can say this is one of the few games that keeps getting good updates at a consistant and reasonable rate, not many devs out there that can pull this off. Idk about the good part the rate of updates is pretty good, now I dont know hows the story turning out, if only someone could tell me. The chapter 1 ended with the protag leaving the village, hows chapter 2 going.

So i am on the path of the beasts, my only quests left to do are :
- Far from home (absent from the walkthrough)
- Origins (absent from the walkthrough)
- Path of the Beasts, objective homeward bound but nothing to do right now
- mail man and warrior's guild (Wip) which both needs me to leave blackforest village
- The missing oxen (no idea where the last one is, so i will just ignore the rest of this let's say it, boring sidequest)
- The oakwood curse, which i need to leave the village by the front door

But i am stuck, the guard won't leave me... leave, the baron has been replaced by the baroness and i can't talk to her about this matters. I am stuck. What can I do, what did I miss.
