I don't understand why defeat h is so common. It's horrible game design. If answer to the question "How much H will the player see playing optimally" is none or close to, then it's just a failed game where the player is punished for doing well. Not to mention losing and restarting padding out the playtime with repeating same steps.

Playably it doesn't make sense, but when it comes to generating desire and exciting the player, having the character be dominated and submitted is what many like. It doesn't work well that this happens when they defeat you, but it is so established and it is so logical at first glance that they abuse you when you lose that there are players who directly score poorly or despise alternative systems to achieve H scenes other than when the enemy hits you. knock you out or defeat you

This game seems like an excuse for a gallery, but as long as it has gameplay that isn't absolute garbage or minimally disguises that not even the creator cares, and if the variety of scenes is decent, I'm going to enjoy it.

There is a surplus of battlefuck games and games that have sex as part of the gameplay. You're whining about something that is less commonplace than the latter of those 2. I think your complaint is more to the fact that a lot of games like this and rpgmaker games emphasize GOR as a mechanic, which is more a personal preference. It also happens to be a favorite among developers who want to make a game rather than a book with pictures(VN). They probably prefer it since it means they can satisfy a kink.

Bruh what. Games with actual sex mechanics are the minority, proper battlefuck is not all that common either. Sex on defeat is what established itself as the standard, and a shitty one at that. Vast majority of sidescrollers and platformers has sex either on defeat or involving HP loss, if not both. And mc getting forcefully dommed, hell even GOR can be accomplished without creating contradictory gameplay that asks you to lose to see anything. Most of these games are really short if you actually play through them without purposefully fucking up every time you see a new enemy.

To dogpile a little more... GOR and CGviewers are probably the two most common types of game with erotic elements. From a development standpoint they are the easiest pornographic elements to implement as they generally just require a simple flag a specified intervals to insert images unrelated to the gameplay systems. It's not specifically a kink either, sense of loss/corruption/fear of failure/etc can all be implemented in a much more intelligent way as part of a gameplay element (i.e. just look at Karryn's Prison).

I personally don't consider them H-games as they don't integrate the erotic elements into the gameplay and the elements can be removed without any substantial change to the game. Basically they are not much different than pornographic images/etc; some can be good if the art and/or story scratches that itch, but as h-games they suck.
