Bruh what. Games with actual sex mechanics are the minority, proper battlefuck is not all that common either. Sex on defeat is what established itself as the standard, and a shitty one at that. Vast majority of sidescrollers and platformers has sex either on defeat or involving HP loss, if not both.
Tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me. Look at the vast majority of games on this forum alone. Tons of games that are sims, or VN's, or some generic puzzle game where a "kinetic" image is your reward. There are a ton of battlefuck games, too. You also have a good number of games where sex is a primary part and the story is secondary. Hell, Shrift 2 has the Izayoi Hotel where the main leveling mechanic is bedding a demon. Monster Girl Dreams has a battlefuck mechanic, as does the Lust Grimm series. It's not as uncommon as you think. Hell, Kenkou Cross is still(?) developing a game with battlefuck mechanics.
And mc getting forcefully dommed, hell even GOR can be accomplished without creating contradictory gameplay that asks you to lose to see anything. Most of these games are really short if you actually play through them without purposefully fucking up every time you see a new enemy.
What contradictions exist in the games where GOR is used? The setting and story in each game that I know of with GOR makes it pretty obvious from the get-go what the result of failure would be. Monster Girl Quest makes it amply clear that monsters want the D for two purposes. Shrift has made it clear that demons want Human semen for energy. Succubus Convenant makes it clear that succubi are in the same boat. None of those games are short. Even Lust Grimm takes a few hours even if you find an exploit outside of grinding.
To dogpile a little more... GOR and CGviewers are probably the two most common types of game with erotic elements. From a development standpoint they are the easiest pornographic elements to implement as they generally just require a simple flag a specified intervals to insert images unrelated to the gameplay systems.
CG's exist in most adult games. You're yelling at clouds over something that has been commonplace for at least a decade now, and which is clearly preferred by the majority of consumers. Yeah, pixel art has had a resurgence and guess what? Good pixel art is received well. It's that most western devs are so lazy that they'll either a) use 3D models of varying degrees of appeal, or b) steal internet images of real people. Also, you make it sound like setting flags is as easy as breathing. Gotta say bud, as mch as I hate making this shitty argument, I'd love to know what surplus of shovelware you've produced in the past decade.
It's not specifically a kink either, sense of loss/corruption/fear of failure/etc can all be implemented in a much more intelligent way as part of a gameplay element (i.e. just look at Karryn's Prison).
Rape kinks, being dommed, mind control, take your pick of kinks where a loss of control and/or autonomy is appealing. It all branches from the same larger psychological profile, which is where an individual desires to have their ability to control the situation taken from them sexually. You're welcome to continue spouting your inane claims, but you're still wrong.
I personally don't consider them H-games as they don't integrate the erotic elements into the gameplay and the elements can be removed without any substantial change to the game. Basically they are not much different than pornographic images/etc; some can be good if the art and/or story scratches that itch, but as h-games they suck.
So, you haven't actually played any of the games you're whining about, then? Lust Grimm, the sex is part of the gameplay. It's basically the entire house. Monster Girl Quest, again, part of the gameplay and a major aspect of the universe at large. Monster Girl Dreams, explained as a compromise for the monsters. A good portion of the economic and social parts of society are actually designed around exploiting would-be adventurers for that purpose. Shrift, it's a way to corrupt and drain a Human. There are a lot more examples, but you're clearly just wrong and talking out of your ass.
Saying something isn't a game doesn't make you right. It just means you're dismissing it because it isn't what you want it to be. Boo-fucking-hoo. I hate VN's with a passion, but you know what I don't do? I don't go into VN threads, call it trash, and then invalidate myself by making stupid, incorrect claims about VN's that only has the end result of me sounding like an entitled, belligerent jackass.
I ignore games I dislike, criticize games I see potential in, and appreciate the games that do appeal to me. You and the other guy should try it. As for me, I tried this game, not my cup of tea. I'm out of this thread, since I have no further business with this game, and I'm quite honestly doubtful either of you have the wherewithall to humble yourselves and admit you're being a pair of jackasses.
