VN Ren'Py Charles, my little brother [dev thread]

Hi everyone. I am currently working on my first porn game visual novel with Ren'Py since I have a lot of free time currently.

I've succeeded in training an A.I. image generator with Stable Diffusion to make a consistant MC. It will be a choice based game where our interaction with our little brother will determine the evolution of the story. It will mostly be an axe good/evil with a branching story and subsequent scenes unique to each playthrought.

I am only starting and so I start with something simple and short.

Story​

Your parents have left you the responsability to take care of your younger brother, Charles, for a week. With no supervision, you will be free to do as you want. But what type of relations do you have with Charles? Are you a responsible old brother, or a deviant creep? But be careful, each actions comes with a price. The actions you take, loving or abusives, will lock you out of certain choices once you have reached enough points.

Artstyle​

I do a lot of work to try to make the image consistent with one another and offer a very wide variety of image shots. I can work on some scenes for ten of hours so that they are the most how I want them. The result won't be perfect but I hope to learn more and more how to have a better result.

So this game will be 100% free, since it will be a test. I hope that the people here will enjoy it and will like to participate in the development of the project.

I will try. .Sadly I made him without hair, and it would be very difficult to add some considering that the character is already AI trained. I would need to make a totally new AI trained character for the hair to be consistent and this would take both a long time and the results wouldn't be garantee. So I'll go full in on the game, and if ever they remove it, then I'll go back on the drawing board and try to find a solution to the problem. I think I would do an ''imperfect'' f95 zone version and offer the true version on another website.

Considering the AI art, I can understand why people would be mad at me.

I drawn a lot of art in my life, from my tender childhood, and sadly I am not able to do something good. not that I have not tried, I am simply not able. I do not have that gift. I am good to draw something, not enough to keep proportions in multiple drawings.

A goal of mine would be to make enough money to pay an artist, which is not the case right now. And so I rely on AI art for the moment.

Art is absolutely important, and I recognize what artists brings to the table. I am simply poor and do with what I have.

Tomorrow, I will start on the first chapter on Ren'Py, and trying to learn how to code the vn.

the transparent background are made with photoroom, which is 100% free for a simple background removal in full native resolution, and the sceneric background are made with stable diffusion. I do an img2img conversion with animeillustriousxl_v10.safetensors as main plugin.

I can understand the criticism! Not every fictional fantasy is for everyone.

This is why I love the VN media! You can explore different scenarios and stories without any harm to anyone.

I do not condone any real life scenarios like this one. It is ultimately only a piece of fiction.

So I have been working around 30 hours in three days. The rhythm is quick since I have a lot of time at home.

It gives me the occasion to explore the different tools I have at my disposition.

My proudest accomplishement, I was able to incorporate trained characters in background with inpaint and inpaint sketch stable diffusion tools.

I fixed a couple things with photoshop. The result is not 100% perfect but I am still very satisfied of it. The differences are noticeable if you have the pictures side by side, but without the side by side it creates an optic illusion.

Then I started coding with Ren'Py, which is absolutely fantastic. I managed to create values:



These values will let me lock scenes behind choices, like this one:



And also create secret lines of dialogues depending your choices. It will be a numerical system, each choices will gives a value of 1 for an attribute.

I did this because I wanted the story to be meaningful and customized with people way of playing Andrew. I plan on making multiple endings, and at some point the story will completely change depending prior choices.

I plan 4 endings but I would like more.

in any case, I will release a demo at the start of next week with the first chapter. Yeah, I am a workaholic.

I worked morning to night all the week. I managed to finished the first in-game day, which is the demo.
But as more and more stats (python variables) accumulate, more and more paths and dialogues are created.

which will definitely slow the process. At least, there is a good base, and it will only become more and more interesting part of now.

I have played it, and it looks interesting. You could introduce a new character in a side story. For example, Charles's friends could have visit for a sleepover, and this could lead to threesome. Or just this friend can visit Andrew room when everyone sleep, and just rape Andrew Or, perhaps Andrew can meets a young character just for a hookup to be fucked by some young fella. And he actually can be a school friend with Charles. This could lead to a threesome. Or something like that.
