In the meanwhile, you can simply remove the mod file, do the scene, and then put it back. If you did not already do that

The developer of the mod hasn't appeared here since November 24, the new version of the game appeared on this site on November 25, maybe he just doesn't know about version 0.99.5. I think it makes sense to just wait.
