Damn another ver. is alrdy out? You work fast or is it a small update?
Anyway, so after considering did you decide to offer the option to only play through one character instead of making it a multiple protag game?

Imagine that all the boys in the game are female wearing strap-ons! It's just an advanced strap-on, very close to being realistic.
Sry mate, that doesn't work lol, not at all. Especially since we already have futa who do that job perfectly well. I kinda understand him though, I always felt uneasy watching seeing "straight" scenes. At 1st I didn't understand why 'till I tried, solos lesbian or futa. I think the fact that sometiemes the cam switches and you see a man's butt hairy torso, his dick.... Not to say his moans. I don't think this was appealing to me at all lol.

Anyway, back to the game, what if I don't like a guy and straight up don't want anything to do with him? Do I have choices that let me decline him? I mean if you have that and we can do it for every guy, you basically have a lesbian only path. SOme devs sometimes forget that since it's basically just a result of the freedom they gave to the players.

Ik it's a lot more work to add girls LI on top of guys but I think your game would benefit from it so you might consider it. I mean ik it's a bit weird to have the cheerleader not date "jocks". Well, in the 90s it might have been but nowadays with the whole trend around lesbians/gays/... It might not be so weird anymore (plus it's fiction in the end who cares lol). Even with all that you could just make a plot where she fake dates a football team guy or whatever (to keep her reputation) maybe using blackmail/friendship/favors whatever, yk soap opera sh1t lol. Like they say, the more the drama, the funnier it gets...

Ik it's your 1st and you might not want to go that deep into pathing. but hell look at Superhuman. In one of his live he said he didn't expect supehuman to go that far. At 1st he only wanted to do a test project which wouldn't last long. However after some updates he saw there was potential and look it's a loong ride and a beautiful one at that.

SO yeah, you should consider it ESPECIALLY bc it's your 1st game. DO you want it to be remembered as one of the greatest in its genre or just another one in the long list we already have. You should always strive, and aim for the top mate. I won't lie there alrdy are some great female protag with lesbian only path games, but man they are so boring story wise. I feel like yours could be the one balancing both. I'm not saying you should do it now or without preparation but you should really consider it, I'd just advise to prepare well, bc managing paths without being prepared isn't good at all lol. There are plenty of videos out there giving tips on how to say "organized", here's one I personally liked, it didn't have much to do with "game dev" but it gives a broad understanding of thing on which you can build on your own workflow ... You could even ask an IA to help or recommend a software to help with that.
Yk what they say, it's never too late.
(man i feel like those motivational speaker lol).

First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write your feedback.
Whether I agree with you or not, it’s always interesting and enlightening to read other people’s thoughts.

Now let's try to answer to your questions/feedbacks:

1) Another version so soon?
This new version includes 220+ renders and 400+ lines of dialogue. I am currently working full-time on it, which definitely helps. I won’t be able to keep this pace up ad vitam aeternam, but for now, I can, so I will. In the future, it will depend on the overall enthusiasm and whether enough people support my work.

At the moment, I’m aiming to release a new version each month with around 200 to 250 renders. I prefer smaller, regular updates to show that I’m working consistently on the project. It also gives me the flexibility to adjust things if I notice that players don’t like a particular path or feature.

2) Playing only through one character
Yes, and this feature is already implemented in v0.4 (though it’s currently only available to Patrons until next month). In this version, players can choose to either follow only Elena or play the game as intended, with all the other characters.

That said, the game will be significantly shorter if you follow only Elena’s story. I made this change based on a poll on my Patreon, where 52% of players wanted to keep the current flow and 39% wanted Elena as the main focus. To make everyone happy, I added a choice at the start of the game.

3) About the strap-on
That was a joke. ;) A lighthearted response to a fellow player who said: "I’ll never play if you don’t do what I want."

I often receive lots of "suggestions" to change everything in the game to appeal to individual preferences. But people should consider what they’re asking for—games have a specific direction, and the developer isn’t going to completely change course on a whim.

It’s not that I don’t want to listen (well, for the strap-on thing, I clearly don’t), but I simply can’t in most cases. I have only two hands (well, not always... but that’s another story!) and it’s already a ton of work to bring the vision I have in mind to life. Adding new paths and changing the story requires significant time and effort.

Players can’t expect to find every possible kink or preference represented in a single game.

4) About the full lesbian path
As I mentioned in a previous post (I think?), I’m genuinely considering it. After giving it a lot of thought, I don’t believe it would go against the core direction of my storytelling or what I have in mind.

I can’t promise anything yet because it would require more work, but it’s probably manageable because:
  • I enjoy creating lesbian scenes in the game.
  • FYI: In the current version, you can avoid the scene with Tyler and see a lesbian scene instead. In a way, there’s already a full lesbian path. ;)
  • Avoiding boy/girl scenes doesn’t require much additional work—I can simply make them skippable or create a path to avoid them.
The main downside is that the game will be quite a bit shorter.

So, in summary: Why not? But only time will tell!

5) Why I make certain choices (and motivation)
Technically, this isn’t my first game, but let’s say it is my first "serious" one.

--> I prioritize what drives me and what I enjoy creating.

Why do so many projects get abandoned or developers ragequit? For me, the main reason is motivation:
  • Motivation to work long hours.
  • Motivation to improve (since none of us does a perfect job).
  • Motivation to work outside of regular job hours (since for many, this project doesn’t bring in enough money to be a full-time job).
  • Motivation to keep going week after week, month after month.
  • Motivation to market the game and gain visibility.
  • And so on...
And for me, the strongest motivator is creating something I love. Crafting the scenes I want to see, girls that I want to be fucked and much more... that’s what fuels me.

Of course, it’s incredibly rewarding when people play and enjoy my game, but I also need to keep that internal spark alive.

So yes, I listen to feedback and take it into account. But if I don’t like an idea or don’t want to implement it, I won’t—even if it might result in more players or supporters.

6) Organization and workflow
I’m not the most organized person, but I try! For a project like this, I have to.
Currently, I use Twine to keep track of the different storylines and paths. It’s probably not the perfect tool, but it’s helpful for me right now.

Also thanks for the video, I will have a look!
