There are a lot of missing pictures that cause loading issues. Primarily around being the female MC -- You can't give birth or go into battle without a picture failing to load. I'm going to continue testing with a Futa MC, but it isn't a good sign when basic tests (such as making sure all called on files exist) are not being run.

[EDIT] Turns out after you breed the starter cow, giving birth to a token crashes out. Since the barn isnt built, you have to birth to party.
Fixed these issues. The pregnant battle sprites weren't properly set up. Thanks for the heads up! <3

So! Bugs!

I get an error about it not finding the right faceicon png's when I try to open a menu to see the hybrids sometimes?? The art assets appear to not be present in the file directories. Or at least, it isn't choosing correctly from among the assets? This only happens sometimes though

But there are new errors: Once a character gives birth they don't stop being pregnant, so they can give birth over and over. Oh, wait, it should SAY there's twins or triplets or similar! Or is it not supposed to do that?

Sometimes it defaults to name the character 0 when they join the party

There's no toggle to turn off or on mpreg in particular.

No toggle to turn off incest, a problem with this genre and keeping your payments going.

Sometimes the game randomly freezes but I can still hear myself opening menus and such, not sure why...

When you add a character from a slot to your party the circle disappears.

What's supposed to happen when you turn a newly born creature into a primer?

Where are you supposed to be able to see individuals genetic passives?

Are there supposed to be any functional differences between hybrids and purebreds?

Is the game supposed to define what the attributes do anywhere? I know this is rpgmaker and we're supposed to know it, but it'd be nice to know whether accuracy applies to magical attacks, for example...

Also, regarding the grind, shouldn't it be that... you can make whatever critter spawn from the machine that you have 100% on? At a random gender. And the other gender of the critter spawn from the machine for whatever you have 200% on?
Fixed this faceicon issue, it was an issue when generating the baby. If you saved after having experienced it, the glitched baby may still be in your save. It's also the same reason why it generated characters with the name "0".
Also fixed the birth loop that you mentioned.

Theoretically, mpreg is supposed to be completely avoidable, the other guy just experienced a bug. Currently, the only male character that can get pregnant without any bugs or unintended oversights is the player character if you pick a pussy as his genital. There are other mpreg methods to be implemented into the future (that's why it's already set up in the game), but currently it's the only way.

When you turn them into a primer, they get "deleted" and you get an item in your inventory instead.

You can check the passives with the Theriari Analyzer that Todd gives you after talking to him in the forest.

And you have a good point regarding both the incest block and the attribute descriptions. I'll think about how to implement both (specially the incest block, since I want to avoid any punishment from Patreon)

The differences between purebreeds and hybrids is purely aesthetic at the moment.

And I didn't understand what you meant with the last part.

I have a problem like this....
Both these bugs are fixed now! Thanks for reporting!

Love the game so far, review with more details.

Won't be able to follow up on this for a few days, but it is possible to cause some actor duplication that is pretty game breaking, mostly dealing with iron tree. If you attempt to do pretty much anything with your Woodcatter after it is automatically assigned there during Lucey's quest, then some weird things happen.
1. Mine was chosen female, but attempting to breed brings up the top menu and shows male genitalia on the Woodcatter with female breasts.
2. Trying to return to the party returns "0" to the party but leaves the Woodcatter, also resetting the harvest ability for the one on the iron tree. There will be a duplicate one in the party now. This is fully repeatable up to 2 duplicates in party, but adding a 3 fails to load the inventory menu. With those two you can take them back to the farm, put in the fenced spots and interact with them. Trying to return them to a primer removes the duplicated actor without giving a primer. The bugginess continues to any offspring of the duplicated actors.
3. Trying to add more Woodcatters (obtained through random drop primers during later forest exploration) does not work and just removes the primer without actually giving another creature in the other two slots on the tree.
4. Also, I believe adding the Woodcatter automatically during Lucey's quest reset the progression of that Woodcatter, but I can't tell since I can't get it back to my party (except through the duplication bug which only gives fully reset actors).

As a result of this testing, I was able to get down to 0 stamina. When I tried going to sleep with 0 stamina, there were no menu options for the bed, so I couldn't sleep or progress the day. This seems like a strange bug, and though not recommended I did a saveedit to give myself 20 stamina and sleep (I don't think 20 is a magic number, it is just greater than 0).

Also, as other have mentioned I believe, the fact that pregnancy is not quite tied to a character is strange. I can take a pregnant cow out with me as a party member and they will be pregnant (menus, combat, etc) until the moment I return them to the barn, even if the same spot. The message says that harvest progress will be lost, but not pregnancy. As a player, there were no indicators that it had ben lost (actually ones that it had been kept such as the sprite continuity) and I saved over in-between saves that would have allowed recovery of the pregnancy. Not too much lost right now, but worth noting.

There is probably a lot of room for improvement. If fixing these things isn't a priority for your work right now, I'd suggest disabling some of this functionality to prevent messing up less exploratory player's experiences.

Overall though, enjoying my time and I'm excited to see where it goes! Good luck to your whole team!

So for the combat i believe giving us a "first aid" type skill would be greatly helpful, also moving most of the combat moves from MP to Tp instead would greatly make combat a bit more fun and make their skills more likely to be used.

When you turn them into a primer, they get "deleted" and you get an item in your inventory instead.

And I didn't understand what you meant with the last part.
Are you sure the item is showing up correctly?

Like, when you get to see the lab machine that creates a new being, that machine should allow you to use it to create a being and you not have to rely on drops.

IE, if you get the analyzer to 100% on a species, you should be able to go to that machine, select the species and gender, and print one and only one out, even if you haven't gotten any drops. Every 100% after you should be able to print another.

So for the combat i believe giving us a "first aid" type skill would be greatly helpful, also moving most of the combat moves from MP to Tp instead would greatly make combat a bit more fun and make their skills more likely to be used.
This. Oh god, this. Everyone gets a heal, maybe make it in-combat only or something. Or have some herbs drop that heal small amounts of HP or MP. Or have the creatures drop some junk that you can sell for cash and buy healing items with. Anything! Else the most optimal thing to do is, first thing, breed the female bovid and fill your party with three female cows.

Should there be an option to activate mpreg? Because I'm trying to get the male MC to mate with the male monsters and it's not working at all, could it be a bug?

I was give your game a try, and for an alpha version, it's better as some other games for sure.
The story is interesting, and i'm curious where it will gonna be go.
For sure, i will play the updates and patches.

Here some bugs i discovered:

1.
You're able to clone a Theriari when you reach 100% in field research.
This showed up in the lab - except ONE Theriari kind: Cofflower.
Cofflower shows always 0% in the Lab, even if you have 100% or more. I have need to use the Analyzer to check the current percent status.
The cloning itself works without any problem, if i have it above 100 %.

2.
You'll get a Woodcutter as reward from the Professor - this one has some special bug.
I'm not sure if is genderbound, but i was choose a male one.
If you put it on your farm and decided to put it back into a Primer, the progress work so far.
But you'll lost your Woodcutter Primer then. It's not even added in the inventory.
I will test, if its happen to every Woodcutter or only to the first one, the Professor rewards you.
So this feedback i'll add later.

3.
The large iron tree is a bit bugged. I'm not able to remove the first Woodcutter, i was added to the tree or even chance it.
If your FIRST Woodcutter from the Professor was go to made the tree as its new home, i always get a "no image" bug, when i try to add it back into the party or even into a Primer. The only resolution is to reload the game then.
For now, it only works well when you reach the tree at first time, with no Woodcutter in the team and add a Woodcutter, if you have one as Primer - but you'll never able to remove that Woodcutter too.
And to add 2 more Woodcutters, it will not allow add a Woodcutter from your party - always call me "Status 0" as reason.
If you try add the other slots with Woodcutter Primers, it's sadly not even work too.

Feedback:
I would love to use some special skills with the Farmboy / Farmgirl.
Like, use Mana for better attacks, or as someone suggested earlier: First Aid.
Your own char dont need to use magic, if it's only allowed for Theriari, but some battle skills like brute force attack, better critical attack, finesse or such, would be nice.
I would love to have an option to flee out of the battles (and i prefer a 100% success one), if you don't wanna fight some specific Theriari and hunt for the others to get their Primers.
Yes there is a breeding option for get more Theriari, but if you allow collect them in battles too, it's much appreciated to have any option to leave the battle against Windogs, if you hunt specially Airphy - as example.

Question:
Friendship and Sex with the NPCs dont work, so it's still in progress i guess?
I didn't tried the females, only the males. And if i choose "Talk" with the shopkeeper, its call me "Work in progress".
I'm not figured out, what you can to do with the Primers, you don't need. Are they sellable, and if yes... where?

Thanks for this game. :giggle:

Thanks for the reports! I'll take a look at each one of these issues.

Please tone down the random encounters. They happen way too frequently and get extremely annoying.
Currently there is a repel item that can be bought through PrimeBay (on the player's PC at home). I can reduce the random encounter frequency too, to avoid annoying the players that didn't bring the item. Thanks for the feedback!

Are you sure the item is showing up correctly?

Oh, you can make clones by talking to Dr. Todd instead of the machine.
And I'll double check the primer item with each Theriari to see if there was any oversight on my part. Thanks for the feedback!

This. Oh god, this. Everyone gets a heal, maybe make it in-combat only or something. Or have some herbs drop that heal small amounts of HP or MP. Yeah, the First Aid skill for the player character is a good idea. Currently, the only ways of healing outside of town are with Lactine's skill, Cofflower's skill (one that she gets at level 5), and the items sold at the Catmilk Cafe, so adding an extra way of healing can be useful.

Should there be an option to activate mpreg? Because I'm trying to get the male MC to mate with the male monsters and it's not working at all, could it be a bug?
Currently, mpreg is only available when the male main character has a vagina, but we have plans to add other kinds of mpreg through the artifact that you get after Ariadne's quest (which isn't done yet), so I'll ask you to wait a bit, but I can guarantee it will be available at version 0.1.

Thanks for all the reports! I'll look into them.
We have plans of adding skills for the player in a way they can become as versatile as possible (our current plan is to make a skill tree).
And the option to flee battles is there, but kinda hidden: You need to press the "cancel" button in battle for it to show up. I'm planning to add this button to the radial menu, because its current location isn't ideal.

Friendship and Sex with the NPCs dont work, so it's still in progress i guess?

will the sex scenes be animated?
Currently, the only animated sex scene is with Amy. You can unlock it after finishing her questline. All sex scenes with NPCs will be animated, and our goal is to have at least one finished for each NPC by version 0.1. Meanwhile, the Theriari will also have unlockable special sex scenes, which are still to be implemented.

I'm not figured out, what you can to do with the Primers, you don't need. Are they sellable, and if yes... where?

Thanks for this game. :giggle:
Originally they were sellable, but after some tests we did before releasing, we noticed they were really exploitable and we decided to remove that option for now. We can re-introduce selling primers later, after balancing the amount of money you can get from them.
