Section 3: N/A
Section 4: N/A
Game Genres: 2D, AI CG, Male Protagonist, Romance

Update: 05/12/2025: The first section is nearly complete, with just a few details left to refine. The second section is progressing well. I’ve decided to release sections 1 and 2 first, then focus on sections 3 and 4 separately which might be mini games rather than bolt ons for this. Section 3 will center on exploration and puzzles, giving me room to experiment and figure out the best way to code it.
Introduction:
The CineRush on High Street wasn’t just a cinema, it was a second home for Becky, Chloe, Ella, Lily and your self. Every Friday night, the scent of popcorn clung to their uniforms, and the hum of the projector became the soundtrack to their youth, Becky, your girlfriend, had worked there the longest, she knew every reel, every regular, every bit of drama. Chloe, her best mate, always smoothing over the cracks. Ella, Chloe’s sister, thrived on chaos, she could always find a way to be inappropriate and a little too cheeky. And then there was Lily. Efficient, charming, and always keen to spend time with you. Becky said she didn’t mind, but the way her smile tightened when Lily laughed at your jokes told a different story.

One Friday, after a long shift, the crew ordered pizza. Something about it was… odd. The toppings seemed ordinary, but as the slices disappeared, so did the usual reserve. Laughter grew louder, glances lingered longer, and the air seemed charged with a strange energy. Friendships flickered, jealousies brewed, and suddenly the cinema wasn’t just a place to watch films it became the stage for something far more unpredictable. By the time the lights dimmed and the last slice was gone, none of them could quite explain what had changed. And yet, when morning came, the echoes of that strange night lingered, carried into the new day, where the story was only just beginning....

Game/Background Information:
This game is a proof of concept for an adult interactive fiction project. I’ve been into these games since the pre‑internet days and wanted to pay homage to the early titles I enjoyed. My original plan was to modernize some classics, but that proved too complex, so I began creating a new mid‑90s themed game instead.

I’ve experimented with ideas like simple text‑based interactions (think clunky chatbots) and hidden Easter eggs, echoing how older games added fun surprises. To keep it achievable, I’ve reduced the scope: the story spans just one day across four short sections.

AI has been used throughout as part of my learning process. The game is more a product of experimentation than a polished release. For anyone curious about making AI‑driven games, it’s not as easy as typing prompts! I’ll share the resources I used in the technical section.

Content Style:
Since this is a proof of concept, I haven’t focused heavily on image or video resolution. Hardware limitations mean videos are lower quality than images, and even the images vary depending on how they were sourced. Most of the video work is experimental—testing character consistency across different generation models, splicing in Paint.NET, and similar methods. As a result, there are some discrepancies between images and videos, and I’ve taken a pragmatic “that’ll do” approach (e.g., socks instead of boots). I’m also experimenting with voiced videos, though I’m not yet sure the quality is good enough.

Technical Information:
Most of the content is made on my nearly 10‑year‑old PC with a GTX 1080. It takes about 2–4 minutes to generate an image and 40–90 minutes for a video, usually in SD (480p)

Models:
SDXL/Pony: Juggernaut XI and Cyberrealistic Pony 14 (Merged at a ratio to keep the NSFW content but to give a bit of Jug for better quality)
Flux
Wan 2.x
Nano Banana (SFW content, Googles image generator)
Veo (SFW Content, Googles image generator)
Chatterbox (Audio, Voices etc)
Co-Pilot/Gemini/GPT

Software:
Paint.net
Windows image editor (quick easy to remove backgrounds)
Audacity
Davinci resolve

Characters
These aren’t game images, just test ones to give an idea. I have some face blindness, so I hope they look distinct enough—my first batch of characters all ended up looking the same, which some models tend to do. I’ve also tried to make them clearly in their 20s, but if any don’t come across that way, let me know and I’ll adjust.
