Well, if you like the game and want to follow the development, why not? It's not the first our game, and it won't be the last.
You never had to, after the first non-demo release. The uploader made a mistake in his post about mandatory new game, and never bothered to fix it. Naturally I can't edit his post instead of him, it's his job.
And I didn't notice it until someone told me after the final release.
Then again, people who actually got the game from patreon never had to start it anew due to wrong post, so...
My thoughts exactly. Additionally, they know each other so well that it would be hard for a doppelganger to replace him.
But it totally makes sense to transform into Geralt to go for an H scene with Triss or Yen, so that's the likely course when we add them.
I loved GIBC, can't wait to see how this one progresses. The artist(s?) who work on these games for The Worst are awesome, the scenes are always super hot.
I'm going to wait to play this until it's a bit further along in the development process but just know you have my support. If the game keeps up with steady progress like GIBC did I'll probably become a Patreon supporter as well (I did with GIBC too because it was that good in my opinion).

It´s a good game but I can´t stop thinking about if playing this game is or isn´t disrespectful towards Andrzej Sapkowski. I respect Mr. Sapkowski a lot. He is one of my favorite writers.

So I see a lot of people complaining that it's not Geralt, and that it's old man Vesemir who is the protagonist of this trainer game. I wonder, how many of you are deeply seated Witcher fans?
Perhaps it is just me, but I never ever saw the relationship between Geralt and Ciri as anything more than father and daughter. There isn't even a smidge of room for romance, as Geralt has always been about Yennefer or Triss and Ciri has never, not even vaguely, hinted towards romantic feelings for Geralt. So a trainer game playing as Geralt corrupting Ciri, just breaks everything about the lore and about Geralt's character. It just doesn't work.
Vesemir on the other hand is kind of like the Witcher's Roshi, he's the old man who taught Geralt and the other witchers everything they know. But now he's old, and while he's still highly respected for his wisdom, he can't be on the front lines chasing griffons and fucking succubus. And while witchers might be sterile, they have all show to have some attractions to sex. Vesemir isn't the young buck he once was, so it might be more difficult to find a women who would spread'em for him, and thus he picks from some low hanging fruit; Ciri.
I get it though, you fear the 'ugly old man' from the NTR doujin sneaking into your Trainer game. However Vesemir is still pretty grizzled, a bit pudgy, sure, but he's got that Dad bod thing going for him. I'm more than willing to give him a shot.
Oh, and just an IMO, but let's keep Yennefer and Triss out of this. Fucking Ciri is one thing, but cucking Geralt is another. Plus, unlike Ciri who is a bit naive and inexperienced, Triss and Yennefer have both been around the block- er- city more than a few times. Unless it's blackmail, I don't see them even offering Vesemir a handy.
Unless of course ol' Vessy has a sign that transforms him into Geralt, then maybe it'd be possible. I forget though, do sorceresses see through witcher signs or can they not see through them as they aren't exactly magic per say?

I just don't understand why out of all the male characters in The Witcher he would chose Vesemir. Also If the Dev decides to go down a cucking route with Triss or Yennefer I might lose my shit. One sins bad enough, lets not make it two.
