I may not be the brightest light on the street but...
There is no "game" folder in the extracted Mod. There is a "CityDom-0.4-Shawns-Mod" that it came from which holds "CityDom-0.4-Shawns-Mod" that then holds "mod" then the files which might go in the "Game" folder under where the .exe is located however...
Now I am totally confused as to whether I put the mod folder in the game folder or the contents of the mod folder into the game folder or, or, or, or...
Could you please clarify in the OP of this mod under the install instructions where the Mod files are coming from and where they are going to?
I shall not carry on to berate you because you really are doing a huge favor for many in many games and you are very busy so simple mistakes can occur that most people can work out, I am no however a brilliant man who can add 1 plus a to get any sum much less the correct sum.
The answer to your question is in the quote below.

The answer to your question is in the quote below.
"where the Mod files are coming from and where they are going to?" was not answered by that post... I tried installing the "mod" folder in the game folder (where most mods are installed) along with copying the contents to the game folder. This of course caused a cluster f*** of failure screens, I deleted the "mod" folder, restarted and got another couple of failure screens. I then deleted the whole game and reinstalled the game without the mod because I can't play a broken game.

I don't understand how you didn't get the answer from that quote, it's very simple.
Just drop the folder called "mod" inside the folder called "game".

If you still get errors when doing that then you have to report those bugs (click the "copy BBcode" button and paste in a coment here) so they can be fixed

Okay so I may not have made it clear that I was braindead (no blood pumping through my brain) for a period exceeding 6 minutes because I was trying to not be an ass by dragging it all out. I have brain damage so simple connections like "I didn't make x folder" don't translate to put the y folder into the x folder I forgot to make.
I just figured I would play without it until some kind soul could explain it to me or maybe I would just forget playing the game all together (which I may still do anyway).
Thank you for a legitimate and logical answer I can follow.
