Dear Supporters,
we have entered the final stage of the development process for the Alpha release of 0.6, which usually means:
Now, we’re still don’t want to give a date before we have the full version assembled to give it a first internal playtest, but we will keep you updated as we go.
Art and animations
On an related topic we made very good progress with some new tools and options to create animated scenes or animated versions of our characters (some may have seen this on our Discord channel) - this is definitely something that we will use more often in the future (and maybe even in some already existing scenes or backgrounds).
We applied some of the new techniques to the title screen (but kept it subtle) as our “test case” came out too good not to use it right away.
Just to emphasize - this were just some test scenes that we have been doing, this is not something that you will find in the game yet. But to give you a glimpse of what we have been testing, here are some scenes with our writers favorite redhead:

Have a great weekend and thank you for your support

we have entered the final stage of the development process for the Alpha release of 0.6, which usually means:
- there’s a final “ToDo” list of stuff that is still missing from the first release, e.g.
- List of missing scene artwork or backgrounds for new locations
- additional artwork to enhance a scene
- final design of a character
- adjustments and polishing inconsistencies
- everything is loaded into the game (sometimes with placeholder art - see above) so we can give it a first playthrough to see if the logic and branching works
- bugs that we encounter get added to the ToDo list to fix before the list
Now, we’re still don’t want to give a date before we have the full version assembled to give it a first internal playtest, but we will keep you updated as we go.
