Public Bug Fix and next steps

Dear fans and supporters,
first thank you for your feedback for the latest version and the help in finding last bugs and inconsistencies that we didn’t catch in the Alpha and Beta releases.
We will be releasing a Public release update shortly (version 0.6.2.1) that incorporates fixes for the bugs that have been reported since the version is available for all. These concern some flow inconsistencies that some of you encountered like
- characters talking about events that didn’t happen in your play-through
- Aaron showing up (persistent bugger) during a scene whereas he should be locked away in prison
Most of them were easy to fix once located (which is usually the more complicated path) - so thanks to everyone who helped to identify the exact parameters that triggered the bug.
We do hope that we now have caught nearly all of the bugs - but if you encounter anything new or odd please keep reporting them, happy to check them out and verify whether it’s a bug or not.
Now, what comes after the release? We have already begun work on the next mid-release to plan for content, story events and required artwork.
We’re not done yet with introducing some new characters and we are also testing some new toolsets that will help us to create specific artwork in a more streamlined way. The best testing ground for this are some of our older scenes (as some may have seen on the WiP Discord channel) - the results we will potentially also include in the game with one of the next releases to update the artwork where we thing it is beneficial/required.
On the animation side we are still testing with what is possible but the results so far are quite promising, so we will definitely include more of them in the future as render/creation time permits.
Story wise we start into Claire’s third week in the city, Sofia will return from her weekend trip with some interesting news and various story paths that you may or may not have followed will continue.
Now, some comments we got on various channels about choices and path requests, some thoughts on that one:
- we usually try to give choice to every important decision, there are some exceptions where Claire made a major decision before that could then “automatically” mandate a certain path branch. A good example here would be becoming “Aaron’s girl”. If Claire goes all out during the party and ends up with Aaron in the morning and then decides to just accept her new uninhibited lifestyle some follow up events no longer give a choice but sets you on a darker path. Will there still be decisions? - for sure. But there will be no easy way out of that one anymore.
- Partner choice for Claire - some seem to want to avoid any M/F relationship altogether and romance every female character there is (which gives our writer lots of naughty ideas). So far Claire has not really determined what she really wants, but the game gives you the option to play a “girls only” path. Will we make more girl choices available for Claire? See the naughty ideas part mentioned above… but still we will try to keep a good balance.
- Specifically to the porn scenes - the three intro scenes were all mandated, the plan here is to give you more choices there so that this career can be steered towards some preferences and to be able to avoid some others. Again this requires additional artwork so we will see how we can make this happen in an efficient way.
