Given the inspiration was SKA and Town of Magic, to the point of including Town of Magic references throughout, it makes sense that this is what the author would be into. What were you looking for with this game anyway?
I've not played Town of Magic, is it straight up possession?

SKA has posession so fundamental, I didnt even think of it as posession. The dialogue with Alica when in Roya just felt like talking to an antagonistic party member. And the progression unlocks with Alica were just, I dunno, seamlessly integrated?

City of Secrets, when I stopped playing at the ghost posession (content extent at that time), the posession felt "not seamless.". More like a gimmick, where the MC loses all control, the ghost takes over, the MC is just watching.

So it felt like a different fetish from the *corruption* I would say SKA did so artfully. Like a posession was the vehicle for a very very slow and thorough corruption in SKA, and the game was about the corruption imo.

Town of Magic is like 85-90% different forms of possession, with the main example being the same 'active possession' where the person being possessed doesn't have control of themselves. SKA doesn't really have the same possession it's more that Alicia is manipulating Aura's subconscious, which I'm pretty sure is the same route a character that was introduced a couple builds ago is going to go.

I'd say if ToM is 85-90% possession this game is like 55-60% possession, with the rest split up between different forms of corruption. I doubt it's ever going to have as satisfying of a corruption arc as SKA does but it's still good if you're into any of the array of corruption fetishes included.

Yeah, uh, Alicia manipulating Aura by rewriting her subconsciousness in SKA is literally Mind Control by definition. A lot more subtle than is typical but still mind control and a really engaging form that is satisfying to see happen.

The only real form of possession in that game is that Alicia takes over Aura's Roya Body when she's trapped by Dolus and becomes she playable while possessing for a brief stint which is possession but that's more the plot rather than the fetish that SKA goes for.

Star Knightess Aura is primarily a Mind control game and it's Mind Control is of the highest caliber that I've ever seen or played. City of Secrets incorporates a lot of different fetishes, one for each dungeon and with Mind Control and Possession being the main ones outside because one major character (Aurora and the ghost girl) correspond to them.

On a related note it seems like Aurora is being set up as the Alicia for City of Secrets - this slow and methodical mind controller slowly corrupting our heroine to her liking and tastes - but I found Kailee and her mother's mind control to be a lot more satisfying.

SKA is a very slow burn that falls pretty solidly on the "too much game not enough porn" side of things for me, but to each their own. Town of Magic has a ton of possession, living clothes, mind control so if you're into those then you'll like it a lot, but all the actual porn is pretty vanilla and finding/unlocking scenes can be a bit of a grind.
