I was searching through this thread looking for news about new content for the ranch, and found out about Evie redesign. What a shame.

Forgot the actual creator has a twitter account and there are some frequent updates with some cgs that I don't think are even on patreon (nobody leaked them so thats my assumption).

So the Dev isn't dead but it seems the delay is due to not enough scenes ready to ship the update maybe?

Doesn't look like any of those scenes are new. Seen all of them in the thread or already released versions of the game.

I don't think that's the reason for the day considering the as of yet-unreleased update was supposedly going to release just a few days after the last one. But nothing. They announced that only a couple weeks before the release, with a list of some content that would be in it, so there's no way it would have taken them 4 months to finish that stuff alone.

Just feels like classic Patreon shenanigans of pushing updates back more frequently and with less main story content in favor of endless little half finished side quests.

Why don't they focus on 1 or 2 side quests for 1 or 2 updates and finish them it will speed up the progression of the game as they don't uhh... want to invest in the main storyline
I said that maybe years ago, mate. Looks like the devs just stepped onto Milky Way...

what the difference between the game here and the gold version on steam?
Steam doesn't allow shota so the urchin's questline was stripped out, and was replaced with something else (can't remember what, should be in this thread somewhere).

The version here should be the complete version, which would have both the urchin's questline as well as the one that replaced it.

Who tells you devs want to speed up game development
Exactly. It's all about subscriber retention really.

Leaving as much as possible close to being finished means more donators waiting for the next update to drop. If he would finish all the, say, Temple stuff before moving on to other sidequests, then the people that are into futa would stop donating because they already got what they wanted, and check in a year or so if the game's progressed enough to give it a try and check out the new stuff.

He would be losing money by NOT keeping as much as possible unfinished.

Seems that their public Discord server is now gone lol. Not that it's useful or anything, shit doesn't get updated there anyway.

Btw, people are also complaining on the game's Steam page. According to them, it would seem that our dear old devs are quite the douchey and shady lot...which you're probably already aware of by now. It's disappointing when you like a game then you find out the devs are like that.

All i see are people complaining about bugs, the steam version having a tiny bit less content, and the game not being finished.
I'm personally not too worried about the game getting finished eventually, because they already have 1 finished game under their belt (though that one was much more linear).

News of incoming content:
"Hello, hello, in this post I shall be talking a bit about Isander, an upcoming character for Rathpike!
Isander is a character concept I've been working on for awhile, that I think will really fit and embody the theme of Rathpike! Hailing from a mercenary background, alongside Lion, he formed the backbone of Zeon's elite contingent that enabled Zeon's victory over all the bickering mercenary groups. However, peace ill-suited his tastes, and despite having been lavished with a victor's spoils of war, Isander quickly grew bored with the stability that came with Zeon's regime and left, wandering the dusty badlands, seeking out the thrill and the rush of blood and war once more. Such outright desertion would usually merit him being hunted down, and lethally punished... But knowing full well the potentially crippling cost of taking him down, Zeon simply did nothing and let the war-lusting giant leave.
Isander strikes a towering, implacable figure, more of a force of nature than a mortal man. He is meant to exist squarely in a moral grey-zone; he cares not for high-handed concepts like justice and mercy. All he wants is excitement, and all he cares for is his own enjoyment. Be it from killing worthy foes, finding good booze, to bedding women - it matters not the source. Isander will butcher a pack of monsters pillaging a village, only to do worse to that wrongfully-thankful village himself; he will just as happily hack to pieces a bunch of murderous bandits as well as an innocent barkeep trying to stop him from destroying his livelihood by drinking all his wares.

We've handily reskinned an existing CG for his immediate use (which was previously the placeholder for the Lawrence x Claire oral scene, which now has it's own proper version), and in this sneak peek, you can see a potential outcome with him where Claire's gotten him all riled up... And he's not going to settle down until that pretty little mouth of hers is put to use.
Isander will pop up from time to time in multiple sidequests across Rathpike, either as an untoward helper, a very formidable enemy, or even simply a passing observer."
