VN - Others - Completed - Closed Game [Final] [Empress]

Was tempted to play because of the high ratings, but after spending a lot of time getting into the story and getting to know the characters - I feel robbed of my time.
The whole game does not care about your choices and has linear path, which is super boring to sit through as the dialogs are INSANLY long with no actual useful information given.
I was hoping for very good renders, but they were average and super weird, in a funny way - That's a challenging wank.

Worst Empress game i've played so far.

Long ass boring conversations for nothing, not many sex scenes you will spend more time reading this boring ass story than seeing some actions, weird characters, no emotional implication whatsoever.

There is no other way to put it, is game is garbage.

You play as the most stupid person on Earth (and now on space too). The MC is suppose to be mechanic of sorts what may lead you to believe he is smart, he is not. He fails to understand anything said to him, even when is related to mechanical devices like how a bracelet with blinking lead works, it just blink with a color depending on what is nearby.

The female characters are interchangeable, they have no personality other than being annoying. The game could have just one girl and still would play basically the same. The main love interest is the most annoying of them all partly because she has the most dialogue.

The choices are non existent to an infuriating point, wanna split the group or stay together? Doesn't matter what the player choice the MC will split the group. Honestly I feel it would be better as a kinetic novel rather than what we got, at least if it was the player wouldn't feel cheated for seeing his choices being overwritten by the developer.

The story is not original but I could look pass that if it was well presented, it is not. Everyone save one character speak like a anime high schooler, what makes no sense because the game is set on a futuristic wild west, something like mad max. In a setting like that the characters would be more mature doing to what they have to endure on day to day basis but instead they are less mature, the only character who acts like his age is George, a non romanceable character, that should be telling of the quality of the dialogue.

The player is also forced to listen to the thoughts of the MC and he has thoughts about everything but only to point out the obvious or what is already established. Telling what was already established is apparent the way this game choose to tell his story, the worst offender being a flashback from a scene that had just happened, literally the MC black out then he wake and remember how he blackout by replaying the scene again just in case the player forgot. The effect of that is the game moves at snail pace with no new information added.

The sex scenes are quite average for porn games, not bad but not good either.

The game has a nice GUI though, and the save system is quite neat and easy to organize, but considering how bad everything else, I doubt anyone playing would wanna to revisit a scene.

You can sum up this game in one word, Pointless.

There are lots of reasons to play a visual novel, unique story, good writing, choices, characters, sex scenes, sadly this game fails on all counts.

The story is an obvious rip off which goes nowhere with some of the absolute worst writing possible, every single conversation/thought the MC has ends with "i don't really have a choice and i should play along"(even when there is an obvious alternate choice they could take) basically they will just say yes to everything, really everything.

Choices are annoyingly fake, you will get a choice like "split up or don't split up" click either one and the group splits up, "stay and help or run" choose either and you stay and help, but the worst part is that the routes are pretty much locked just from the "choices" on the first stage making everything after pointless

Between the six characters you couldn't make one whole brain between them they are that dumb, they literally fall for every single trap and follow every single lead placed in front of them, a real mouse in a maze would fall for less traps.

The MCs shitty decisions will have you hating him more than any other character.

The sex scenes are just awful femdom crap with no bearing on the rest of the game.

Man this Kinetic novel feels like its straight out of the 90s. There is little to no distinction between different choices and paths, its barely better than a choose your own adventure image game. Then the fact that if you want to see endings of all the girls with unique and vastly different paths, you cant, because different girl paths are basically 80% of the same stuff and 20% of the girl it self, beyond lazy.
The story itself is flat, it feels like the foundation is there with no other details added to it, just a half finished project. Doesnt help the fact that the girl are absolutely basic just like the MC, its pathetic.

The only reason i give this two stars is because the art is good. Would have given it three stars for it, if not for the unavoidable scat, man.

Hehe, it is a rather nice game. (for Seishoujo game standards) It is full of rape, basically NTR, wicked evil people and mindless fucking. So the formula still stands. This one has the most gorgeous models in a Seishoujo game ever and I have found it less disturbing than Starless, which had endings like, a Jigsaw movie scenes or worse. This one is rather tame AND there is a a plot somewhere. People sensitive to shit, might not like it, but if someone plays these games, knows that skat is a rather basic thing in them. I have read many reviews which are stressing how literally full of shit this game is, but I think it is not that overdone as they complain about it. (Or maybe I am too resistant to such things?) Nevertheless, I really liked this one, could even unlock 99% of the scenes, though it needs the guide posted further below.

From the creators of Starless so I had high expectations, in general the VN is great, good art and all that, but honestly the scat should be optional because it felt like just a side thing it wouldn't even matter much if is gone.
Starless knew that once you take that route you go full throttle, no point in just putting a sprinkle of scat in a couple scenes.

definetly good if you don't mind scat but if scat is your main reason to pick this game you will find it too soft and a tease .

I waited for this game for so long and was elated with the game being officially translated. Obviously theres some weird stuff but the sei shoujo art makes it worth it ten fold.
I adore the main character and the story is good enough, starless is my favorite visual novel ever and even though i find that has higher highs i wasnt disappointed with closed game

If you like lewd games you have to love Closed Game for what it is.

Of course it's a Sei Shoujo production so start there... either you think his art is amazing or it isn't. Personally it's my absolute favorite, I would describe it as the most realistic depictions put in the most unrealistic of circumstances.

It seems like the plot of a Sei Shoujo story is just enough to get the point across to get the CGs to do their thing. I think the Bible Black story is the best that I've played still but this is decent.. there's some world building for the sci-fi element but it's a similar premise to a certain other VN that starts with an 'E' and ends with 'Uphoria', except that one executes better.

It's a story where you and some friends are prisoners and trying to escape a Hunger Games like situation, except with sexual punishments. I feel like any Sei Shoujo game is essentially about putting people in situations where they're coerced/forced into sex. It's also about the art of creating the most audacious scenarios, without turning to comedy or irony as an out. Like for me as I said, the story is there but really, the highlight of the game is the uniqueness and the strength of the creative vision in the artwork mixed with the storytelling aspect through sex scenes. I mean I'm 100% sure it's not for everyone, but for me the sex scenes are written and drawn in such a visceral, unique way that's worth a play, more often that not.

You know what? I'm usually grossed out by a scat, but this one doesn't really bother me, the scat in the game doesn't look as gross as the other I used to play, but it'd be nice if there's a "turn off scat" feature.

The one thing I'm dissapointed at is that I have no say on wether I could avoid the rape scene, don't get me wrong, I love rape (Not the real thing ofc... Or am I?), but sometimes I just wish I could do something to avoid it for a personalized storyline sake, but overall it's a good VN.

Overall an enjoyable game and I don't regret spending my time on it. But coming from games like Starless, Disciple and Bible Black the story/kink selection was a bit underwhelming.
Pros:

• Generally gorgeous art
• Nice and varied BGM, fully voiced (except MC)

Neutral:

• Interesting story/setting, but as expected of a nukige it doesn't really build up on it and the endings feel a bit boring.
• You'll be skipping over a lot of repeated scenes/text when going for all endings.

Cons:

• Quite a few penetration scenes were clearly drawn with the censorship in mind and didn't get touched up for an uncensored release.
• Buggy image gallery/scene replay (at least for me)

It's Seishoujo.
So it's perfect for me lol.

We still in a sci-fi universe just like the last 2 games but still very different.
The intrigue is appealing, you got into a survival horror game and you have to witness all the "nasty" stuff they're going to make to your female comparses and how you are going yourself getting used and abused by the owners.
There's some inside story who's quite intriguing with Celine & Celicia's situation.

A little bit more of "tentacles" and "monster rape" stuff in this one than the usual but not necessary more shocking than the studio's standard if I may say.
I don't really into that stuff, I just go with it because the render is so appealing like usual with the artist.

So if you liked the previous's work, that'll do it for you.

ok so Im gonna be first simple and then with spoilers.

First of all the art: The art as the previous game is one of the best of all anime style that I ever seen and I think that is even better than the first since the bodys seems more femenine and pretty.

The scenes: Every scene has almost his own pose, theres no recycle of any scene, thing that is very good and surprising, the only problem here is mostly the scat, almost every anal scene got it, real shame...

The history: Is really good, at least better than most of the games here and finally you can have a proper ending with almost each waifu thing that I gonna argue in the sector with spoilers, but I like that the heaveners arent totally bad guys, just selfish.

My main problem with the history is that the childhood friend, Cecilia is the only girl what you cant have a good final with her, each of the 2 routes ends with she or you almost dead respectively and even in the true final they doesnt even are together, and this is sad because you even rip ur ass to stay with her (literally) but at least the bad guys (or girls) got what they deserve for killing George (RIP George )

PD: Now that I think about it.... if there are pigmen in this futuristic city... WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE CATGIIIIIRLS

The inevitability spoils the game.In addition, the gameplay is delayed.The variability of events is not great in relation to the classic games.Some characters are not fully revealed and others are too obvious.Tagge should take into account that it is not 90 years old, but already the 21st century.

Pros:

1- The world in its own right is very interesting if a bit underdeveloped.
2- A relatively well-developed cast of characters for the time frame it takes to complete this.
3- Art by Sei Shoujo (Bible Black, Discipline, Starless, etc.)
4- Very good Japanese voice acting, it's unfortunate that some voice actresses who did the voices in this work are not in this line of field anymore

Cons:

1- Unavoidable scat content, and there's a lot of it, so be prepared.
2- Some routes are not very well defined on how to trigger it, so you'll need a walkthrough.

As others have said the art is pretty good. Most of the dialogue is pretty hot, but the images are all static. I actually found the premise/concept for the story to be pretty interesting but they fail to deliver in the endings imo.


Basically to sum it up: a very interesting premise imo that isn't really used as full as it could be as they focus on banging the girls. I mean I guess this is a h-game but games like Maggot Baits and Euphoria actually have a cool plot and premise which is more fleshed out.

A good game from a developer who consistently outputs a good product. It is fairly short compared to Starless or some of their other games, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in content. Like most Empress games, it is not shy about what it is, and goes full force with its tags and fetishes. For someone like me, that's a great thing and I fully enjoyed it. For others, maybe not so much.

But if the tags interest you, and you want to enjoy a quick, dirty romp of a game, (several times over to experience all of the diverging paths), then this game is easily 5 stars. The art is fantastic, the voice acting is superb, and the H-Scenes are gratuitous!

High quality art, fantastical story, well-written and sometimes funny/shocking characters. This game's rape content is one of the best I have ever seen, not once pulling back. One of the best games I have played in a very long time-- but not the best due to one problem.

Sadly 4 out of 5 stars due to the inclusion of scat, where a perfectly mind-bogglingly amazing piece of artwork in a scene is suddenly ruined by the character's randomly shitting themselves with highres brown streams of solid shit. If not for this, I would replay this game over and over and over again. Please take note, Empress

Game starts with a good premise and would have made an excellent sambox if we had control of what happens on the station. And if there was some basic animation going on in H scenes.
