Nope, plenty of people do it faster with less people and less to no money. Especially the Japs, ever been to DLsite? Yes, 70% is RPGmaker stuff (but doesn't mean the galleries and porny content are bad), sure, its often a bit lower in quality (depending on artist), and shorter (well not really if you exclude the grind THIS shit game has), but hey, it costs pennies and ITS COMPLETE (in less than half a fucking decade and without crowdfunding too!)... Most the patreon shit is just pure money milking, plain and simple, either intentionally, or through sheer incompetence. Sometimes both.
Lol also, "games like this do takes very long time.." sorry, games like what? seriously what is this abomination?
I'd be more patient if the long time was taken from adding & animating more and more sex scenes and breed variants but NO, all they do is just falling into the rabbit hole that is dungeon battle, farming, cooking and other stuff that frankly should just take a very MINOR side role in what the game was supposed to appeal

they should have gotten the breeding done in the game first

This game is a lot like the sims 4, the dev doesn't prioritize fixing really annoying and game breaking and new updates with fixes for the bugs bring new bugs that just defeat the entire purpose of the bug fix itself. Take for example, the Dungeon 3 bug which cause to freeze the moment you tried descending to it. it took them about five months to fix it and this was bad cause it was core part of a quest you had to finish otherwise you'd be lock out of your barn and unable to feed or breed monsters defeating the purpose of the game itself cause that whole point of it, then with the new updates they've added new dungeons 4 to 6, all of which are one massive cluster fucking bug! The player is no longer pushed into battle when they approach enemies on all three floor, instead they walk over them they're no even there and it gets worse as your descend cause when you finally when you get to floor 6 where you're supposed to that lab its a buggy nightmare, items you cant pick up, enemies you cant fight, doors that lead, doors that somehow have the same despite being separate from each other. i like the game but this is too much. I'm not gonna touch this game again for a while hopefully by then it'll be better.

Depends, I've seen some that takes couple of years (above 5 years) for to complete that rpgmaker games. (and yes, talking dlsite's games)
Right? imagine how mad players be when they couldn't do any breeding (which is the whole point of the game) because they're locked in a game-breaking "dungeon" bug that didn't even have anything to do with breeding!
This is still pulling in money? Paypigs (leakers for all patreon content on this site are paychads tho) get what they deserve for dumping funds on an inexperienced and clearly divided dev team.
I miss breading season too. Haven't been able to make any fried chicken since the shortage.
I still can't believe my sweet little breeding season died for this horror of a "game", hell it doesn't even deserve to be called a game.
I don't understand why so many people hate this game?
I even played breeding season & consider it trash.
Sure it is not as pretty as Breeder of Nephelym, but I love the RPG combat aspect of the game.
It give a sense of purpose as to why you want to breed stronger monsters.
It has it quirks here and there but I have High hopes for this game to be a success.

Ravenger6660 over 2,500 posts, and at least 10% of that - excluding reviews - describes the issues people have with the way the development of CM progressed (do take into account the fact that most of them correspond to the version latest at their respective times). Which parts of those were difficult to understand?
It's because a lot of us cared about a game that would be better than what Breeding Season was but it seems the devs just ignore any issues people bring up and honestly the only way people can react is negatively just to warn others not to get suckered into this project like many people, myself included.

i do as well, i loved the artwork, (which was far more better than the one used on Cloud Meadow, even thought it comes from the same artist)
interestingly enough, i do have the last, not-officially release version of the game (was uploaded by a Patreon backer) which is 7.7.1
