I spent a lot of time breeding monsters for nice colors and important traits, and then I didn't succeed until a year later in the game and found out that they would graduate from my farm? This sucks!
It's honestly such a shame that a game with this good of an aesthetic is this much of a clusterfuck. Both from a game design and business practice standpoint
Now, I'm not saying that a lot of the problems with this game come from Authorial Emotional Issues[tm], but holy hell that's projection. "Bad luck, your monster won't love you unless you go to her graduation" is pretty fucking on the nose for a Western dev crashing out.
