So what even is the control scheme? I figured out WD, Space, and KL. Is there anything for picking items up? Or using stuff? How does this translate to controller?

Game is great so far, especially the game over scenes and the art on the Patreon looks great for hopefully what's coming down the line.

Joined your Patreon today and excited for future development. I see possible futa and body/armpit worship on the Patreon. Are those in the game yet? If not, are the coming? Cause they look awesome!

The lack of patreons is understandable there is a ocean of dead projects, patreon milking and people got tired of getting burned so they won't commit to suport untill they see more results.
No A.I! Its my first time writing.
I was waiting for someone to help me with writing but they ghosted me and had to rush the process.
Besides that i hoped you enjoyed the game, i know its bare bones bcs its the first release.
Honest Dev, that's refreshing (and somewhat reassuring). I'll definetely watch your progress and will recommend your work to people.

Keep in mind that when you throw out the A.I accusation is akin to calling someone a scammer, and it is a big damage to their reputation and the game.
There are always gonna be those who is going to be criticizing you or trying to offend you or your work. Can't satisfy everyone. My advice is to not:

1) waste too much time trying to justify yourself over every small thing
2) emotionally attach yourself to a random comments of random people

Better focus on your game instead, on your overall health and well-being. If you want a good framework for filtering out useful criticism from useless criticism, it was described by a Paul Graham many years ago - search for "hierarchy of disagreement"

Item pick-ups are automated except one item in sewers who as of now serves no function.
in general the button to interact with NPCs and probably other parts of enviroment in the f is "E"

The tutorial including the one with Helga explains the controls, right now all items except the purple one in the sewers are picked up by contact.

I don't have a controler and i know nothing about the technical side, i will check to see how hard it would be to add the option tochange inputs from main menu.

Glad you enjoyed the game !

The bonus content on Patreon is "non canon" so i can go crazy with ideea, some of them will be used in the game in one way or another.

Great game, will wait for updates. PS Encountered a few bugs; first when exiting the initial sword training the input lagged an I couldn't do anythihg, had to restart. Second is when the submission scene for the pit tentacles played, after that all submission scenes were played on the same screen, basically pit trap image was showing on top of any other

Hey dev! Gonna give a bit of feedback. The art is awesome, both the pixel and the normal stuff. If you're ever done with this one, give me a holla, because I'd definitely want to work together on a project.

The gameplay needs a bit more work. This should be done in the early stages of the project, to avoid a huge headache later on. Feedback when picking up items, or during combat, as well as some bug fixes (the player can attack while falling down, but the attack animation doesn't play, to give an example). This is most likely the biggest headache if this is your first project, but the game will feel a lot better to play if you invest the time here.

Levels are fine, but add some detail and variation so that they don't look too samey. You could draw a tileset full of props and sprinkle them throughout the levels and that should do the job.

If you want, slide into my DMs and I can give your writing a quick read, correct errors, and maybe even spruce it up a little if you so desire. I can also give you pointers on the overall story structure and direction.

Good luck on your project!

Edit: Also encountered the sword training bug. After I parried her, pressed E, then pressed X to finish the scene, the player just froze in place and couldn't move anymore. Had to exit the game and restart as well.

Noted. I am aware of some minor bugs but those two are new and quite serious thx for pointing them out.

Yeah most of that is already planed, right now the only enemy that has more complete sounds is Felicia but i plan to change them and add sounds to all enemies.

For now the levels will be a bit generic, i plan to addcustom assets to some levels that will have more lore and itemsin them.

i havent play this in a long time but i will say this after playing it the controls are so weird thank fuck i can use my mouse to attack but 2nd.

the slime gc? this is best part of the game i wish i could hide the text while it was happening but my god who ever thought that up? give them a raise

I'll only speak from a gameplay point of view. You should tighten up the combat and movement mechanics a bit. Could be a bit more smoother and less clunky. Even games like Castlevania and Celeste have something you can borrow concepts from. The parry window could have a few extra frames of active state plus a proper sound clue to know when the parry window is fully active, let the MC yell a generic grunt or something. Also aerial attacks can be used to "hover" above an enemy slightly off the ground and continually attack and it looks a bit weird. Add a subweapon and/or magic system to allow the player to attack from different angles plus the items/magic can be used as inspiration for different scenes.

Ill keep this short (not realy...)
-The programmer who helped with developing the game (Unity) during his free time (wasn't a game dev but was intrested in trying) landed a big client at his actual job so he can't continue working with me bcs of the lack of time. While learning to code i got contacted by a Godot programmer and we are moving the project to that engine.

-For now the Patreon is paused until the project is fully migrated and ill post some public builds there, to gather feedback early so there will be no pile up of featurse making tweaking them hard.

-Regarding the feedback from above, i realy like the suggestions and was thinking about some of the changes, with that said i am curently trying to lower the projects scope so it won't become a never released game.

-Air combat for now is a problem bcs there is no flying enemy (ill probably add a Harpey Girl or Demon idk) and has no point as of now.
