The art for Colette is really good especially on the destruction of her Armor and her combat animation.
This is clearly the first version of the game as the content is limited 3 scenes with a guard check, naked guard check and naked blacksmith chat, all using basically the same CG’s. I would rate the game higher but in its current state it does have a number of noticeable issues.
There are a number of bugs and other issue I have encountered;
- Clipping thought the tress and walls south of your house
- Random Game crashes when moving to new areas/transition (uncommon)
- Minor grammar and spelling errors
Having to click the bed twice to enable first sleep, Fixed
Having to sleep twice to restore MC’s HP Fixed
Other notes/suggestions:
I’m not sure why you need 2 types of currency, especially when one resets each day, Fixed
Not being able to restore Colette’s HP outside of feeding her food make combat quite annoying especially with bad RNG. Fixed
Not having a way to toggle Colette’s character model when she’s following you makes navigating more annoying that it needs to be. Fixed
- No nude or damaged combat animation sprites exist to reflect armor status
The premise of the game is quite promising coupled with great artwork; I really look forward to what the dev does with this game.
Update v0-1-2e.:
Each update has provided a decent amount of new content with the same amazing art style. The world has been expanded and the writing even if it can feel inconsistent with characters actions at times, continues to be engaging. However, having played through the game multiple time now I have noticed a couple of glaring issues:
Firstly, the game is becoming very grindy and lacking QOL features to offset this, this is most prevalent in the brothel, but also existing in the bathhouse scenes and when breaking armour. For the Brothel you must complete the same “dance” (fight) multiple time to unlock a new “move” (scene) and after each dance you must walk home sleep and walk back. Doing this same process over 20 timers just to unlock the pole dance and do the same thing again.
Secondly, the RNG aspect of scenes is both frustrating and hurts the player experience. This is tied into how corruption works. As it is a single value, if Colette has a high corruption from 1 type of event it means when new non-linear content is added you are required to do the same event over and over never knowing if you have seen all the new scenes/content. As more content is added this will only become more annoying.
Overall, the game is moving in a positive direction I just hope the Dev can balance the game better going forward.
