For Lydia I don't think there's currently anyway of romancing her without D&D, and I don't think Suzie has a love quest yet.

It just sets a variable to make the code a little shorter and more efficient: if $lydia_dating vs if hasVisited('LydiaHome1') or hasVisited('LydiaApartmentTravel1').

It's mostly for flavor text and doesn't get used at all past the fifth day.

I'm fairly certain the game has a checkpoint system ingrained in it by default now.

Im guessing closer to two years given the massive list that is the development map, which is still being added to monthly.

And i think he mentioned somewhere on his discord that he was planning to have a day 1 demo out for the new game sometime this year

Yes, but it would probably be a timely process. College Daze was created in Twine, using the SugarCube story format, so you'd need knowledge of that, as well as a good understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

The images are easy to swap out though. Just make sure the width matches the default value and you name them correctly before replacing.

All images in the game are wrapped in a div with the class img-container1. If you check the CSS code for that class, it has the property float: left;. You can just change the code for that particular property to float: right;.

There was a Guide here, but unfortunely I never was able to do it properly.

I was able to edit the html file manually with the file he provided of a previous version, to get used to html game coding in my free time (and maybe even add stuff for games I liked, this included), but for some reason I could never change from Twine 1 to Twine 2. From what I remember, both use Sugarcube, but the game is coded with Twine 1, and only "recompiling" to Twine 2 helps that editing you want.

Just a sidenote, I've just noticed that post is nearly 2 years ago already... holy molly G28Here , you took way too much of my free time with your game, god damm you.

There were definitely a lot of other actresses that I didn't use in this game, but I want to preserve some surprises for when they appear in the next one. I can say that in terms of characters though, the models that didn't make it into College Daze mainly wouldn't have been new characters but were originally slotted in to be someone else before they got replaced.

For instance, early on I had considered Charlee Chase or Amber Lynn Bach for Mrs. Maywood, but I always knew Brandi would be Karen so I wanted someone that had a good number of clips to eventually pair with her.

After all this time playing CD, I can't see Mrs. Maywood portrayed by anyone other than Alexis Fawx.

Regardless of the clips, I think Alexis Fawx was the right pick for Mrs. Maywood anyway.
