This is definitely one of the best science fiction games. Its story is very good, with several mysteries surrounding the characters, starting with the protagonist. In addition, all these investigation parts make the game even better. The girls in the game are beautiful, each with a personality and story, and the scenes are also well made. In other words, this is a great game for those who like good science fiction.

It should be 2.5 stars but that is not possible and 2 sounds a bit too harsh for the work the dev has put in.This game could have easily been 4 stars or maybe even 5 but the MC drags it down.You have all these competent and powerful ladies in the story trying to get with you for their own agenda while mc is borderline a bum.He has no qualities he doesn't excell at anything.I am not asking for the mc to be the greatest person alive not at all but he should have atleast one trait/skill where he excelled.This could have easily been prevented if at the start of the game we got to choose a trait like being the best fighter or a great tactician or a great leader or a great detective.It wouldn't need a lot of work it would just change some flavour test and maybe events slightly but overall not much but it would help with immersion that why are the girls trying to be with this Bum of a Mc except for their own plot because apart from the plot demanding them to be with him for their agendas .So yeah it feels hollow that these great ladies are trying to get with this Mc lol.The dev said if mc was good at things what role would the Women play? Well nobody said he should be good at everything he needs to be good at just one thing as I said either fighting, leading, tactics or detective work Any of these 4 qualities would work and make the girls trying to get with mc a lot more real and meaningful instead it's just the plot forces them to be with this bum and somehow they are enamoured by him while he has zero qualities.

Honestly, this game is a real gem, it really delivers. The story is incredibly engaging, with a mystery that'll keep you guessing and characters that feel fully fleshed out. I love how much depth they've added to the narrative - it's clear that the developer´s have put a ton of thought into crafting a world that's both immersive and believable.

One of the things that really stands out to me is how much agency you have as the player. Your choices genuinely feel like they matter, and it feels like you get to shape the protagonist into the person you want him to be. It's amazing to see how the story unfolds based on your decisions, and it's clear that the developer have put a lot of care into making sure that every choice feels meaningful.

The game is definitely on the longer side, and there's a lot of reading involved. But trust me, it's worth it. The story is so engaging that I found myself getting completely absorbed in the world, and before I knew it, hours had passed. This game definitely deserves high praise for its engaging story, well-developed characters, and impressive visuals. The plot draws you in, and you get to know the characters gradually, which makes building relationships with them feel meaningful. It's refreshing that the game doesn't rush characters into sex scenes unless it fits their personalities, yet you still get intimate moments early on, keeping things interesting.

However, one glaring issue is the main character's appearance. While everything else about the game—the story, the characters, and the renders—is fantastic, the MC's hairstyle is hard to overlook. His 90s boy band look, complete with dyed hair, feels out of place, especially when he's supposed to be talking about military skills or combat expertise. It’s hard to take him seriously with that style.

Visually, the game is great, though some might have personal preferences about how the characters look. There's room for improvement in terms of player choice and consequences. So far, the choices don’t seem to have a significant impact on the story, except for deciding whether or not to engage in sex scenes. Additionally, it would be nice to see some of the text-heavy sections either animated or automated, as clicking through them can be a bit tedious.

Despite these minor critiques, the game is absolutely worth playing, and it’ll be exciting to see how it evolves.

Played for a while, but I wasn't convinced. Game starts already a bit weird, when MC bangs a random chick, which was obviously a fangirl who just wanted sex with him, yet he feels "used" when he wakes up. Then he dreams about her later in his "new" life, at which point he supposedly forgot nearly everything about his previous life, but apparently not about random side chick who still visits him in dreams.

Then there is the fact that most npcs appear lifeless (especially MC and Lana). I get that MC is suppose to be somewhat depressed, but even depressed people have their own expressions that shows their state. This dude just has a blank stare no matter where he goes, what he does and who he's talking with. He could tell an hour long story without blinking. Same with Lana or whatever her name was. She comes to MC to "help him" relax with a bj, but she looked like first version of a sexbot with a blank stare that would kill any boner.

I quit the game at that point. Maybe it gets better, I don't know, but there wasn't really anything to keep me interested and keep going to see if it gets better. Meh MC, meh girls, no music, story didn't grab me (although it has some potential to get interesting). Might be a 2/5 for me, but objectively, compared to other games, I guess it's average, so I'm giving 3 stars.

First, thanks to the developer for the effort. Any game, good or bad, takes a tremendous amount of time to create. Worth mentioning is that I only got about 30 minutes into it before I quit and deleted the game. It's possible the game gets better later but there wasn't enough to keep me engaged.

Story/Plot: At least this VN has a story, which can't be said for most VN's. The story is okay, not great, and that's all I'll say about it.

Character Development: Likely I didn't play long enough to get a good grasp of the development. The development felt sufficient for the time I played but it felt lifeless. Not even the slightest hint of a bond with any of the characters.

Renders: I would say they're average but they could certainly use improvement. Diversity in framing the scene is lacking, they appear very vanilla.

Aside from the above items the one thing that affected me the most was the lack of expression and emotions from the characters. It just felt cold and detached. Within the 30 minutes I played I'm pretty sure I didn't see any characters smile or laugh. There was one scene when one of the females was giggling (I think) which was shown by the character covering her mouth... but that was the extent of the expression. The characters felt robotic. Eye and lip movement isn't enough to give life to the characters; tilt a head, nod, smiling and so many other subtle movements are needed.

This VN could be so much better with just a few changes...

With espionage thrillers being one of my favourite genres, I had high hopes for this game. Largely, I would say that those hopes have been met so far.

Visually, the renders are very good. There are a handful of games with better, but they are well above average for an indie avn.

The worldbuilding is a lot of fun. It's nothing super original, but it fits the genre perfectly and elevates it above the standard avn.

The narrative so far has been interesting. There is a LOT of intrigue and mystery to resolve, which leaves me eagerly waiting for each update. I like that all the LI's have their own motives and interests that may necessarily not align with the MC's. It's an espionage vn, you shouldn't be able to trust anyone.

My one gripe with the game is that, so far, the ADULT portion has been a little undercooked. The sex scenes were fairly boring and infrequent. The renders were pretty, but the scenes themselves were extremely standard and tonally a little off. The scene with Lana stands out especially as having some weird dialogue that I feel clashes with the characters personalities. This is something that I hope changes in the future. I understand not having a bunch of scenes before we get to know the characters, and I don't expect a total fuckfest, but at some points it's easy to forget you have been playing an AVN, not just a VN.

This isn't enough for me to drop a star tho. I still really enjoyed the game, and am super excited to see what happens next. I hope that the dev can stick the landing on the mystery/intrigue portions of the game, and inject a little more SPICE into some of these scenes.

Review as of Version Ch 3

This game is easily in my top 5 most likely. I can see it being my #1 after a few more updates. This game is essentially a game of thrones in space with a bit of a spy thriller mixed in. While this dev clearly won’t kill everyone off, I also wouldn’t get too attached to any one character either. On my first play through 2 paths I was going to make a save for one of the characters who got killed and another may have been as well It's unclear for me. Which is something I like, not many devs will kill any characters off and it’s different and refreshing to see a dev that will do that.

There are no animations in this game but the renderings during the lewd scenes are done in a way where I honestly didn’t miss them. But I wished they were animations because some of the characters are some of the most beautiful LI I've seen or at the very least way up there on the list.

Usually lack of music or sound is not something I complain about but on my playthrough there was a lack of it. At times it felt odd that there was none. Earlier I had sound effects when one of the laser guns was being shot but was absent later on for some reason??? So it might have been a bug, I'm not sure.

This game is done in a way where most of the characters you are unsure if you can or cannot trust them even if they haven’t done anything yet to be untrustworthy. Because of scenes we see as the player but the MC doesn't, it's always in the back of my mind that certain characters I can't trust despite them not doing anything wrong. Personally I only trust 2 characters fully and one partially.

Overall this is a story first game that is worth your time but not so much if you are in it for the lewds as there are only a small handful of lewds and might want to wait if that's what matters to you.

Excellent Cyberpunkish game, interesting story, engrossing plot and settings.

Characters are likeable and badass.
It is action packed and looks beautiful.

Could use a bit of music / ambient, but no big deal, as it can still come someday.

This definitely deserves far more recognition than it gets.

Aside from the beautiful art and aesthetic in this game, there's really nothing special here and i'd argue that it only has any type of sex in here to try to dip its toes in the erotica/porn crowd. The girls are all bland, the story is nothing special, just the typical futuristic cyberpunk war thing. Also, the MC is supposed to be a war hero but he looks like a walmart brand Dante from devil may cry. You also have no choices in this game, it's just do you accept this girl or not. This is basically just an on rails kinetic novel that does nothing outside of the norm and takes no risks. Combine that with severely lackluster sex scenes and you have the recipe for a mediocre sci fi/cyberpunky snoozefest. I'm sorry, but I really don't think this game is good enough to recommend even to fans of the genre.

The renders are excellent, the characterization and overall writing is excellent too.

There are complaints about the somewhat inadequate personality of the MC. I don't view this as an issue and think it is a deliberate, and interesting choice.

The biggest issue with this game, however, is that it is really just a kinetic novel. There is pretty much no capacity to interact with the interesting plot, there is no choice and consequence, and the sole choices come down to - do you want to have sex with this LI who is throwing themself at you right now, or wait for later?

In a thriller/mystery style plot like this, there should be ways for the player to interact with the plot and influence what is going on. If that isn't going to be offered, then the MC really needs to be written as a default to not do the stupidest things at every turn. It is deeply frustrating to watch a character you are supposed to identify with consistently make stupid decisions in navigating a complex and interesting plot.

If there are more choices added to the game, this could easily become a 5/5. That is the only major issue at present. However because there are functionally no choices, it is a 3/5 for now.

So far it is a well crafted mystery story with reasonably interesting (if cliché) characters. The art is great, the world building competent and it doesn't seem to overly focus on porn (which is a net positive). There is a lot of potential. I am interested on where it goes.

The one thing that really annoys me is the MC. Maybe it's different from a male perspective, but him thinking with his dick all the time and being supremely gullible when faced with ANY female attention, makes it really hard for me to take him seriously.
Given he is the awesome celebrated war hero, the dissonance takes me out of the story regularly. He is a bit of a bland idiot.

out of the gate, the art is great. i doubt anyone would say different and is this games selling point. visually this game is another feast for the eyes.

moving on to the bend, game design is spot on. a VN with few choices to keep the player immersed in the read, rather than a spotty over-grind sandbox experience, is for my money the right medium to deliver this story.
cannot fault it.

as we hit the straight, the writing is where it starts to falter from the rest of the field. i can see the story they want to deliver and the intrigue they want to create in the reader, but the writers skill is lacking as the MC's character alone, as i have seen already mentioned, is just not ringing true. that backstory and the character being portrayed seem poles apart. it is like trying to force a square peg into a round hole. hard to put into definitive words as i'm no wordsmith but it breaks my immersion enough to find it lacking and i have a hard time enjoying the read. i am just not hooked by the story-telling, which could also be better, and with the unfathomable MC it falls flat.

and as the rest past the post, i wish i could like this one but i just can't. i enjoy a good read but this one rings hollow to me. it just seems to want to deliver mystery to the detriment of story-telling and flow. Visuals should enhance the reading experience but here, to me at least as an avid reader of fiction, it seems to be carrying the story. not quite a 4 star so a sad 3. sorry

Overrated game. The initial updates were very good in introducing the story and building up tension. But subsequent episode has been short and underwhelming. All girls are looking beautiful. MC is supposed to be war hero but both his personality and looks does not seem to be that way. There are no scenes depicting how good he is. As a war hero who is very famous he is supposed to have some gravitas but is like a emo kid leading a girl band.

Review of Ch2v4

Pros:
- Interesting overal story arc with spy vibes, good dialogues and intrigue
- Starting stories for girls are interesting
- Girls are very pretty and varied, and there are many of them
- Very nice graphics
- No pointless open world
- Nice H scenes...

Cons:
- ... but not a lot of them (its more story focused so its fine for me)
- others suggest that choices are pointless

Overall:
I would rate this 8/10. It is very good right now and I would recommend it to anyone. However the score is not higher because we're relatively early in the story and it can yet go either way. I hope though that after several updates we'll get more content and a nice conclusion and I will be able to give it perfect 10.

I'm convinced all you need to do to get bombarded by 5 star reviews is to have good renders and keep the story annoyingly vague. This is another one of those overrated games which have all style and no substance.

I'm not saying those things aren't important but having a complicated story doesn't necessarily mean it's a good story, and that's what this game suffers from. The writer tries so hard to add depth and complexity to the story and he does that in the form of giving every single character an hidden agenda to the point where we, as a player are left not being able to really trust any character, which in turns makes it very hard to emotionally attach to LIs.
Also all the characters have backstories but it's just blurted out instead of actually being revealed via the story, it's there just for the sake giving depth to the characters.

Another issue I have with this game is that MC is continuously praised in this game for his military and strategic abilities and all but yet when we want him to use those abilities, he is all of a sudden oblivious. Also he doesn't really do much most of the times, just goes from one place to another talking to people, his subordinates do most of the actual work. Another issue I have with the MC is that instead of looking like a battle hardened solider he looks more boybandish than he did in the beginning of the game and he was actually a rockstar then.
The MC is also kinda overall lifeless with no emotions, no personality or anything, his only motivation for doing stuff seems to be "this is my job I must do it".

Everything about this game is amazing, the story, the characters, the renders, the sex scenes, I thoroughly enjoy everything about this game. Except for the model of the MC. I seriously cannot take him seriously when he is talking about military skills or his combat expertise when he has the hairstyle of a late 90's boy band member, with dyed hair. I seriously cannot take him seriously. The rest of the game is amazing, seriously, I would give five stars and I have never not given a deserving game 4 stars before, but I cannot stress enough how bad his haircut is. This is constructive criticism because I can't be the only one who has thought of this. It's okay to have long hair as a guy, totally on board, not that hairstyle or that hair color. It is a crime against my eyes. Great game though.

Chapter 2C version 4

These are some of my thoughts on the game after I've played it so far:
1. The story isn't that good but it's not that bad either.
2. The beginning of the story is when the main character meets a girl for the first time and suddenly they have sex, in my opinion it's so boring and not too important.
3. The rendering is good, but unfortunately the expressions of the characters are a bit stiff and they look like dolls with moving mouths. So far Mireille is my favourite.
4. If there is a secret mission, why order the main character to carry out the mission, even though the main player is a famous Commander, his face is already on the poster. If it was because of his ability or something else, at least the main character's appearance was changed or maybe he used some sort of disguise.
5. The choice to accept, delay, or decline Grace's invitation to dinner is completely useless, as Grace ends up dying before it happens. It might be better for Grace to die after the main character has dinner with Grace (if the player chooses to accept or delay), which may later give the main character some information or lead to another important part, or a slightly sexual scene.
6. What kind of commander would order his subordinates (Lana) to relieve stress by ordering Lana to do sexual things, even though Lana suggested it, especially since they haven't worked together for a long time. At least it can be in other ways such as massage or other things besides sexual acts. Makes the story a little weird. Although I know this game is one of the adult games. At least for the sexual scenes to appear at times and parts of the story that make a bit more sense.
7. Dizzy invites the main character over to her place just for trivial chatter and requests to be a friend? Another unimportant part. Maybe it could be made with a scene going out or an invitation to dinner, or something else.

Overrated good shit, the starting was 5/5 but recents updates were very bad as if the story didn't progressed any further especially with the main squad, we already had dizzy content and now again. There are much more interesting characters and there's been zero development with them in a year. I checked the patreon and damn the developers earns decent but the quantity and quality has fallen off too much. At least in a 6 months try to come with 1000+ renders. The starting of the game was top notch but as of now if I have to rate it, I would rate it 2/5.
