The MC in SCC hasn't had a single sub or humiliation scene that I can think of. His attitude toward sex is pretty much like mine. This thread hasn't been about the damn list in fucking forever, I see it as a general for the fetish in question and that's very cool with me. I was just gonna message you about that - I read what he said as well, but it does seem a bit at odds with how the game has actually gone...I'd leave the possibility open it was a language issue and he was referring to ntr as a catchall for non vanilla themes.

Why am I so hung up on this? Because once you play the intro - you see, everything "feels" like an nts game, not otherwise. So yeah, maybe he's planning a 180 and im off base, but I've seen very few hard ntr games that start with the couple honestly communicating their fantasies to each other (fuck off AMW )

If you don't keep up with this thread regularly then it is already starting to get pretty bad at it's job, yeah. I don't see why they can't give ownership to someone who will update it regularly so that you don't have to search 245 pages of largely unrelated messages. No way I would be willing to do that. Being here from the beginning, however it's easy enough to keep up with. Besides, there are some interesting side topics now and then.

I take it then you've played it as well, so you would understand my confusion. Nothing about the tone indicates an ntr game, and my ntr-dar is fine-tuned

I'd say that's generally fair for those that have a difficult time using English. I can sympathize; thus, it's often more important to look at the intention beyond the words used in the story themselves as they may be in error. However, there were many posts that brought up NTR and NTS (whether or not those abbreviations were used) in the game's thread -- including the post the dev quoted me from that emphasized NTS from NTR (in bold no less) -- and still answered that the game will be NTR-based going forward despite the initial setup of the game's story. That's worth noting.

The dev completely evaded giving direct answers that time in their response. The dev seems like a nice fellow and I can understand wanting to keep the interest up especially upon the initial release to keep the momentum going. Keep in mind though the dev distinctly said "The game will progress on the basis of NTR", and have never once mentioned NTS whatsoever in any of their posts. Albeit, I'll concede the point that they've also muddied their responses a bit when they said scenes will unfold differently depending on player's preferences.

Nothing about the tone indicates an ntr game, and my ntr-dar is fine-tuned.

I respect that. All things considered I'm willing to leave the possibility open that the game will be NTS or have a route dedicated to that, but I'm leaning heavily towards that it won't be and that it's intended to be a NTR and cheating game given what the dev said or have alluded to over several posts of theirs. Nevertheless, I still wish them all the best in their project! It's tough to make something out for the world (even if it's a niche thing like an H-game), and it can be scary to be open enough to face any criticism from doing so. Thus, I respect that too and hope they have ultimately have an enjoyable experience developing the game and have lots of good luck towards their way.

I'm surprised the mods themselves haven't taken action to either close or merge one of the two threads since they are literally duplicates. It makes discussions needlessly complicated. But it's clear this thread isn't going away. It is the first search result.

Because that's how the game starts with its opening story's premise. Hence, the confusion. It's planned, it seems, to go from that to full-on NTR and cheating.
