Hello friends, how's everyone doing? I hope you're all well!
I decided to share some games that I didn't think were masterpieces but that I liked, not enough to make it into a top 10 or top 20, maybe not even a top 100, but I liked them even if they are good or average.
It is in alphabetical order, without any specific criteria.
I decided to share some games that I didn't think were masterpieces but that I liked, not enough to make it into a top 10 or top 20, maybe not even a top 100, but I liked them even if they are good or average.
It is in alphabetical order, without any specific criteria.
- Absolute Obedience Crisis A game of stages and scenarios, with a lot of history and background, which I liked, with somewhat convoluted minigames and gameplay, at times, strangely punishing (although skippable) with 3 endings, which surprisingly respect the player's decisions. Miya is a very erotic character and there was a lot of work to capture her facial expressions well, being something more in the sense of complete perversion than pleasure, and could be slightly worked on to be the opposite. A good game, a true little treasure.
- Blades of Jianghu: Ballad of Wind and Dust An enjoyable game with decent gameplay, good character design and an ok story, which works very well in the overall context, not making it a great game, but a good experience, enough to be a legitimate little treasure.
- Braveheart Academy , without mentioning the sequel that is in development, it's a little treasure because of the performance issues, awful puzzles (which thank God can be disabled in the menu!) and unintuitive navigation combined with a mediocre GUI, but it's a good game! You have several characters, stories and fetishes that complement each other with a good protagonist, who can be a typical idiot if you make him that way, which is almost likable at times. All the poses, scenes and eroticism were designed to work with many elements, and I felt that the progression worked very well, because it generates variety and complexity. It's definitely one of the games at the top of the list that with more effort could legitimately be a great game.
- Ciri Trainer It's a good game but it has a lot of grind, the erotic art is well composed but, I can't 'love' it, maybe because in part I find the atmosphere of the game low-spirited and there are many things in the main plot that revolve around themes that I don't like very much, but coldly speaking, it's a true little treasure.
- Cummy Bender I think it's one of the closest games to being legitimately great, and what holds me back is the fact that I've played something more dense before which was Four Elements Trainer but in no way does this parody of Legend of Korra make it any less exciting and well-made. The animations are well done, the story has cohesion, there was a good concern with poses and logical progression, Korra becomes increasingly prone to varied acts as well as those who accompany her. It's something very good, a true little treasure.
- Crimson Keep (unfinished*) Okay, I'm going to make one of the exceptions that proves the rule and explain why this game is here. Crimson Keep is very convoluted to play, there's no sequential way to do everything BUT, the scenes are well done, the character design is very nice, you can go with the incubbus logic to gameplay which is innovative and, EVEN though the game isn't complete, I played it with the mindset of it being an anthology series* and, from that perspective, it worked for me. The scenes are very sexy, the game is fun, even though it has a lot of retro mechanics and you have to start over between one game and another, overall it's a little treasure that's worth getting to know and trying out, even though the hand of time is heavy on this game.
- Daily Life with My Succubus Boss It's an ok game, in general, Succubus is interesting and the scenes are well constructed but it has the touch mechanics, which I really dislike because I find it unintuitive. However, it's a short and pleasant experience. The ending is absolutely hilarious in how much it escalates, it's honestly surprising, trying to be dramatic, but in my opinion it's just comical in how absurd it is, taking itself way too seriously.
- Doris ❤ Lady of the Night It's one of those games that you think about as something cool after a while because the game presents Doris as someone who has a limited sex drive and can't keep up with the pace, a curious dynamic that I haven't seen many times around. I understand that the game would need to be more coherent in the story and deeper mechanics to be something legitimately great, but it's a true little treasure! If it were more polished, especially in terms of performance and gameplay, and had more content, it would be something incredible.
- Dusk Pub It's a really sweet, sexy and romantic game. The erotic part, I honestly find it great (especially how it treats creampies) but the gameplay loop is weak and drawn out, especially in the beginning when you are forced to watch the clock go by without any mechanics to speed up the clock, but it's a good game, it has beautiful art and the story is nice enough to entertain.
- Elf Sex Farm I imagine it was a parody of Don't Starve, but its mechanics brought some serious problems, even though it contained a lot of interesting material. As an erotic game, it has many positive aspects and a good range of fetishes. But the playable part is a headache. The hunger mechanic is annoying and the way to grind is particularly tedious. Since I'm someone who always plays things while traveling, it wasn't a big enough problem to give up playing, but even in those conditions, I sometimes preferred to look at what was happening through the window rather than looking at my laptop screen. It really is a tedious game that needs to be played in homeopathic doses to enjoy all the eroticism that the game has.
- Guardians of Eden If you have the divine patience to deal with the bugs, read post #170 and are lucky enough to play without crashing every 15 minutes, you have a competent tower defense game with decent eroticism, good animation, very well polished art and fun gameplay loop. Honestly, I don't remember ever playing a ero tower defense before and it was worth the effort for the novelty, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want to test something because of the potential bug fixing you'll need to do.
- Harem Fantasy: Good or evil will save the world I have a love-hate relationship with this game. See, the erotic content for me isn't worth it on its own, and the game is much harder than it should be, but if you like retro games, you essentially get the experience of a classic Final Fantasy (pre-PlayStation 1 era) and the game really encourages you to explore, having a lot of bugs in the process that can break the game in half at any moment, and I don't think it's worth the effort, as an erotic game. From a retro game perspective, it's worth it, because it has a lot of combat mechanics, the story is engaging in many aspects (in the classic sense) and there's a good deal of world-building to get you hooked on everything, but as someone who took 17 hours to get to the end, and who doesn't really have that much time to play, I was at an impasse that I went too far to abandon and, by the 5th hour of the game, I thought I only had about 30 more minutes. A fatal error, but at the end of the day, I believe I had fun, homeopathically, during the process. At this level of complexity, I had more fun with Island Saga, despite it being just as frustrating.
- How to Build a Magnificent Kingdom Honestly, it's one of those love-it-or-hate-it game. While it has prequels (which I haven't played), a relatively interesting world, and decent erotic scenes, it also has a convoluted plot, low consistency, terrible brothel mechanics, an annoying battle system, and lots of illusory choices... there are a lot of problems. But I believe that its strong points make it worth the time and experience. In my opinion, you know whether you want to play it or not within the first 30 minutes.
- Isekai Janken Hero Honestly, it's a pretty sexy game with a stupid rock, paper, scissors gameplay. I wish it had more variety and more depth. It's one of those games that doesn't get a high score simply because the game doesn't have enough content. I found the characters very sexy, the interactions fun and the story, as silly as it is, functional enough to deliver an experience worthy of a little treasure.
- Impregnation of the Elves A strange game in its conception but with good execution. The fact that the orc's penis is always on the screen is very dubious, but everything works as intended. The gameplay is fluid, the orc has a good skill progression and I, personally, missed more game fundamentals and more characters. I understand that the game's proposal is to be direct, but the way it is direct is what prevents me from finding it great to become just good.
- Isekai Reincarnation Magic Cock It's one of those mindless games that focuses on fucking everything that moves around the map, with a completely skippable battle system in the options. It's a game that never cheats on what it's trying to do and is very erotic, with plenty of characters to explore fetishes.
- Jerez Arena and the sequel Jerez Arena II The story is decent, you get a good variety of fetishes, the arena theme is very interesting and the execution brings a lot of gameplay dynamics, both in the first and the sequel. Like much of the content, it is based on losing on purpose (or not) to have the variety of scenes, and this particularly displeases me, which is what makes this game a little treasure. If it were better worked on other things, for me it would be a better game as a whole.
- Jikage Rising, that at the time of this post arcs 1 and 2 are complete of all 4 planned and cover enough to be conceptually complete in a self-contained sense, it is a game that explores the fetish of mind control and hypnosis in depth, using the entire cast of the Naruto franchise, perhaps with more commitment than the creator himself, because even the girl who helps the ramen guy has room to shine. You can feel that it is a product of someone who is very passionate about Naruto, however, it has 3 central problems; the navigation is very truncated and sometimes poorly done, some poses are weird anatomically speaking and the writing of the characters does not necessarily respect their archetypes, some concessions are made to make everything work, which for me was not a problem and made this game a fun and good experience in the first and second arcs. I have not played the third one, because I am waiting for it to be ready.
- Jellyfish's Life It's an incredible game, one of the best I've ever played here at F95, the romance is very good, things happen gradually, the girl has a special touch, quite erotic and with restaurant management, which is really cool, but it has a problem, for me, that makes it a small treasure instead of something legitimately great; low variety, grind and the touch progression mechanic. The low variety, I can understand because the poses and dynamics are very polished, and the touch mechanic is a good way to make everything work coherently. In fact, directly citing The Runaway Girl and Me which has similar problems, if the gameplay loop was designed to have more variety, it would be something wonderful.
- Klaroro-Abyss of the Soul A fun, fast-paced, action-packed game with a good dose of eroticism in a boss rush sequence. Depending on who gets the game, they might complain about the pixel art (which for me, isn't a problem. Quite the opposite! It's surprisingly well done!) and the difficulty curve, which reminded me of Megamen and can be punishing. The biggest problem with it, for me, is that maybe it shouldn't be an erotic game; its focus is on good attack execution and boss pattern recognition. The eroticism part is overshadowed by the action, and even though it's VERY rewarding, I just liked it. I wanted to love it, but I just liked it.
- Lust Is Stranger It's from the same creator of Goons Raid Her, which I played first and really liked, and this is also a game with many virtues. The gameplay is cool and it has a good dialog wheel system - the parody of Mass Effect - creates good ramifications that actually generate an objectively different final result, it's a game that has to be played, it's a true little treasure. It's just not an excellent game, for me, because this university theme interests me the least, but even for me, the game convinced me that it's something coherent and I would find it perfectly natural to be in a top best games of this genre out there.
- Lewd Gym I mentioned this game in my first post on the forum with News Desk, and I'm going to talk about these two again because gameplay is a big impediment to them being truly great. Look, a lot of things here are well-crafted; animation, composition and context for the story. But gameplay? It doesn't seem to have been designed for an erotic game because it's simply counterintuitive due to the repetition and the mechanics of unlocking scenes. Does that make it bad? In no way, in fact, it can be pointed out as the opposite, of why it makes it good! But in my case, that's what makes them little treasures, they're interesting and, on the day you have the patience, it's definitely worth testing.
- Legend of the Master Baiter A real little treasure. It has a fun gameplay loop, the chibi design isn't necessarily my cup of tea but it's good, the story is fluid, the eroticism explores a good range of fetishes and the fishgirl concept is hilarious! I had a lot of fun playing it, and I definitely recommend it to anyone to give it a try. It's a very good parody of River King Mystic Valley.
- Magical Waifus Academy and the sequel Magical Monstergirls Academy they are decent games with terrible navigation, somewhat clunky animation, an unpolished battle system and rough transitions. What made me play both games was precisely the character design, and in this aspect, the game works very well because the hentai scenes are something that I like, they didn't catch my attention or make me think about the subject, but I liked it. Almost artistically speaking, in relation to the pose and scene composition. I think if you're looking for something different, it might be worth trying.
- Monster Girl 1000 It's a game with multiple interesting mechanics based on RPG Maker. It caught my attention due to the high number of characters and playable content. The static erotic scenes, honestly, are quite average, but there is an INSANE amount of content, which for me, makes the overall well above average. Also, if these mechanics are a problem, you can activate the story mode, which I don't recommend, because part of the charm of the game is its fun combat system. Normally, I recommend skipping combat, but here it's really well done. It's a real little treasure.
- MonGirl Sexpedition I enjoyed the experience, the gameplay, the minigames, almost everything, except the variety of erotic content. Mona, who is one of my favorite characters, had a good variety of content and Miriam, despite being an interesting character, has content that is not very interesting for my personal taste. But, in no way, does this make the game less interesting. It is well above average, and can be quite fun, as long as you have tolerance for the optional puzzles, the insane RNG and the enigmatic quest system.
- My Femboy Roomate A fun twist on the world of femboys and Robin is female enough. The story is okay and things evolve gradually, the scenes are quite sexy and the ending is surprisingly nice. It's a great little treasure. If you're worried straight male; Robin is a cute snowflake, you'll see a dick here and there, but honestly, it's a minor detail. Close your eyes and pray to a fairy of your choice, it's sexy, it's cool, you can have fun. Try it, it's fun. The events in the kitchen seem like they were created by Kubrick, so perfect in making the plot unfold through so many different lenses and perspectives. The more you think about it, the deeper it gets.
- My Slow Life with the Princess Knight and Her Devoted Handmaiden and Namaiki Dark Elf Sisters: Cocky Chicks Craving Creampies (especially this one) are a vestige of erotic tales. The fact that they are kinetic and have nothing more substantial to develop, honestly for me, is complicated. On the one hand, the story is decent but, there is never really anything that you look at and say is exceptional. The Alchemist & His Battle-Scarred Homunculus don't let me lie about the bad climax and pace. And, believe me, it's a *long* read. I imagine there are people who skip everything and just look at the gallery, I don't recommend it, it's part of the game's charm, the context. Without the context, I don't think any of these three games would be here, as beautiful as the art is, because the poses and erotic execution are dependent on the attachment you have to the characters, from the sassy Sheila to the tomboy Ellie. Assuming you have a lot of time to spare and want to read more than play, I think it's worth it.
- NPC Capture Academy It's one of those "papers please" parodies that I found good, but not great. The randomly generated characters are decent, the scenes are also ok, sometimes above average and, depending on the situation, below average at the same time. It's a game that I couldn't find anything clearly good, nor anything profoundly bad, but it's worth testing on a day with the intention of finding new games.
- Overwhored this is a double-edged sword. Look, it's a pretty complete game, as an RPG, it has resource management with castle building, a tolerable grind, nice story, classic JRPG navigation, a lot of good stuff actually! However, it's dated, very dated. And the passage of time is particularly heavy on the writing and the way some things were done. As a game, I consider it a little treasure. However, as something erotic, it's decent with a lot of good will, and in the past, it was good.
- Oakwood Academy of Spells and Sorcery A good parody of Harry Potter, and with the +18 patch, some things work really well. I had fun, and Izumi makes it all really worth it. You can't say the creator doesn't have good taste! While playing, it has a lot of false choices, it all comes down to 4 central choices to define the endings, but honestly, the illusion is satisfying and for me, it was a more than satisfactory experience (although not very erotic, which for me, is not a central problem.)
- Princess of Mekana I really liked this game, the premise, the way the story is conducted, the princess is a modular character who respects the initial ramifications well and the player's aesthetic, in both routes, is very interesting. And this game is only not bigger and better, because that is not its proposal. It is a small, fast and dynamic game with a decision-making system in court, which was visibly well-crafted and thought more like a book than a game, this is reflected in the mechanics that are a little convoluted, but that overall make this game a good experience, which cannot be more so because the erotic scenes are few and there is little variation, but for me, this is not a problem.
- Peeping Dorm Manager One of those games about surveillance and stalking, it's actually quite fun, but I honestly felt like it lacked more ambition even though it's a good game. The characters are charismatic, the scenes are quite erotic, the protagonist, except at the end where he has the element of prostituting all the girls to anyone in exchange for money, has a pretty decent evolution in the exploration of couple fetishes.
- Paid Dating Fantasy ~Love & Courage & Paid Dating Will Save the World!~ for me, it is the best experience of its creator Laplace, which accompanies Imperial Lovers and Princess Party, in what I kindly call a competent mediocre. I Don't get me wrong, it's all pretty and has enough interactive elements to be conceptually a game, the problem is that I don't really find anything exciting even if it is objectively erotic, not to mention the atrocious touch gameplay that I find an abomination because it's so bad! Sensitivity is definitely an issue and if you turn on auto option, you trivialize what is already trivial. However, it's a good pastime there, maybe two hours, four if you're really detached from the meta game, to delve into and enjoy what the game has to offer because its design is beautiful and the animation is also very beautiful. If you play with sound, the sound work is also well done.
- Renryuu: Ascension There's so much to do, and the game deals with a lot of different themes, but I didn't feel like it was particularly good at it. It's not bad, it's almost good at times, but I felt like it was a bit too ambitious for its own good. There's a lot of content, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT! I think that when it's finished, it will definitely go from being a little treasure to a legitimately great game, but for now, it's the only game in development on the list because I think you can keep up with the occasional update. The combat system is solid, it has a lot of management features, the characters are interesting, the global map has a well-defined and intuitive exploration design, there's an attachment to the premise and the natural progression of the story.
- Room It's a good game, with plenty of dynamics and a dose of romance, if you're not a crazy person who goes straight to the blackmail route. However, I understand that this kind of thing, for an erotic game, is very complicated as a context for accessing fetish content, because if you rely so much on the story, if you're attached to the story, there are many things to be thought about and Akira, especially her, is simply a shotgun shot to a butterfly. The game's grind, for the romance route, is a nightmare because it's so monotonous, and the blackmail route is too low-spirited for me. But the game has good animations, the poses are varied, it fulfills the premise well and delivers what it promises, with a surprise drama that in my opinion was not well dosed.
- Robolife-Days with Aino and Robotlife2 Nova Duty They are good games, the 2nd one being absolutely necessary is the bugfix, with 2 central problems; 1) the time spent doing nothing, just grinding and 2) how the unlocking of scenes is dispersed to the point that it is a headache to unlock the gallery. Apart from these two details, the art is beautiful, I'm not a person who pays much attention to VAs (Voice Actors) but here the highlight is real, the story has an interesting plot twist that respects the cohesion of the proposed theme, I found it fun to play and the only thing that makes it look like a little gem instead of a legitimately great game are the bugs and the lack of adjustments in the gameplay loop. Apart from this detail, I absolutely recommend it!
- Sir Stretchalot - The Plight of the Elves An unpretentious, fast, fun and straight to the point game. At no point does the game pretend to be bigger than it is, and for that reason, it is a true little treasure. Very fun!
- Secret Pie Kidmo's art is very good, the story is linear and there is little trouble unlocking the scenes, the overall experience is light but I found everything very sexy. The game has an initial aspect that is somewhat laborious, but in reality it is just a sensation, everything happens fluidly, it is easy to unlock 100% of the gallery and the eroticism, apart from the description of the onomatopoeias that are there just to waste time, makes this game a little treasure for me as a cool kinetic visual novel experience. The animation is especially organic and I personally think the DLCs did a better job than the base game, I definitely recommend checking it out.
- Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson This game is a real mixed bag. Look, it's a cool game, the minigames are good, it's heavy on the NTR because it has a certain focus on the humiliation of the partner who takes his wife\girlfriend to train, it has a variety of scenarios where the erotic scenes take place, it's a very good package, EXCEPT for the gameplay. The gameplay is a slap in the face followed by a spit in the eye! The grind is awful, the gameplay loop is repetitive, the event unlocking scheme is laborious, I'm not sure if things were balanced because the cost is absurd for things that are very unbalanced, if you do the right minigames. In the end, I wasn't sure what I was playing exactly after so much grinding, but the scenes in the cinema and the intermediate scenes in the training are cool. I recommend it because if grinding isn't a problem, then it's a good game. But if grinding is a problem, stay away because it's a headache. Lustful Traditional Massage Parlor in my humble opinion, it's a better game, it shares similar problems, but in the end it's a shared experience, but one key difference is that Lustful Traditional Massage Parlor has less grinding, more intuitive minigames and improved art, but with the same monotonous loops, on one side you have the dojo, on the other you have the massage section, which for me are both unbearable.
- Savior of Impregnation It's a game with plenty of erotic content if you stop to count. Honestly, it's all pretty inconsequential with a poorly-polished English translation, but it's a decent game, with lots of good scenes and a refinement in the poses, especially for Nun, which gives it a special contextualized spice. I don't particularly like NTR, and that can be blocked in the options, but it's part of the game's content package.
- Sexyverse Games Collection An anthology of short but well-made games from Sexy Games. Infinity Crisis and Titans Tower are my favorites, a very enjoyable and fluid experience. The perspective is sometimes quite tricky and makes everything a bit strange, but in the overall context, everything works well.
- Sex Hotel Simulator A very strange game because the gameplay loop and story are counter-intuitive, and the story sometimes lacks thematic coherence, but at some point, it stops being something dominant and becomes quite intuitive to the point of being enjoyable. As an erotic game, I feel it's not enough. As a tycoon game, it's not fun enough, but it's a sincere average that becomes an enjoyable experience by osmosis. What makes this game a little treasure for me is its loops, which are very well done and have a decent concern with the composition of the room scenes. It has some annoying bugs, like the client getting frozen, but for me it's the minimum necessary to be average. This game almost doesn't make it onto this list.
- The Arrogant Kaiju Princess and the Detective Servant It's a real little treasure, to the point that I even like how it handled the touch mechanics. The characters are sexy, the VA is very good, the protagonist is likable, the application of fetishes is very erotic, the concept lets things happen quickly but at the same time without making everything childish in the process, it's something incredible. The mechanics of completing missions, at first, may seem complicated but the trophies already work as a kind of hint system, so it can happen fluidly. I had a lot of fun with this game, I had a great time playing it and I recommend everyone to try it. For me, it's the best game between Kaiju Princess and Kaiju Princess 2 but both are also worth it, despite the worse overall gameplay in my opinion.
- Together With A Cool Maid! The gameplay here is very different from what I'm used to playing, and I liked it! I liked the gameplay, the premise is functional, the erotic scenes don't take long to happen, the arts are dynamic through well-defined cycles! It really is a true little treasure that comes very close to being something great! It's just not, because the game's proposal is simply not to be that, it wants to be fun and dynamic, and that's exactly it. I believe that, depending on one's gaming philosophies, this game could legitimately be in a top 10 best games in this genre. It's not in mine, but if I saw it on a list of someone else, I would understand why. It's definitely worth checking out.
- Tamas Awakening It's a good and short VN, it has nice art, it has many positive elements like ample exposure of fetishes and, depending on how critical you want to be, many negative ones. Plots were abandoned halfway through, there is an official ending but not a general one, there were a lot of pending issues and the choice was that these pending issues are less important than the eroticism, because this is an erotic game. I agree, I liked it, I thought it was a great visual novel.
- White Witch Soul - A Resentful Sexual Harassment RPG A fun, small and fast game that caught my attention due to the character design. Both witches are very interesting, have good scenes with decent poses, which fulfill the game's proposal and deliver an quite pleasant above-average experience. The grind to wear down the barriers requires a bit of patience to break, and perhaps this is the game's biggest weakness because it is unintuitive.
- Wolf of Stock Street A very strange game, but if you like grinding game, it's very welcome because it has a relatively new, albeit repetitive, mechanic of actions based on buying low and selling high. The erotic scenes are pretty standard, but it's a decent game and the story is comical enough to make it worth the experience.
- Workplace Rhapsody What makes this game so different to me is how vast it is in terms of fetishes and possibilities, some really surprising, with nice and quite erotic art without abandoning the gameplay, which is actually very fun, even with the abusive grind! I can understand how someone would be annoyed by it, but for me, this game is a little treasure of the corporate world.
