If the dev can go four months and provide at least two updates with actual content (new enemies, animations, maps, etc.) in that time, my Patreon sub is theirs. Until then I'll hold off on any hype.

The original game of this style, Captivity, was very popular and well-made.
People are taking inspiration (or just straightup taking assets in some cases) to make their own homages or copycat games.
So far none of them have surpassed a proof of concept/alpha stage.

Something about this game keeps me in CAPTIVITY... I can't quite put my finger on it.

Yes we know Captivity and Aishteru are mentioned in the OP. Yes it makes no sense to talk about them in this thread. But talking about them is against our rules. As its mentioning another game or dev.
