The bird monsters are great, their interactions between each other are great too.

Whoever designed those green tentacle things deserves to step on lego for the rest of their lives though. They're going to take that many bullets only to respawn almost immediately? No thanks. If they're supposed to be beasically a map hazard, in practice all they offer is irritation.

They do. I'm not sure what triggers it, but if you stand close to them long enough, it'll happen eventually

Does anyone here happen to know the controls or if there is a double jump/climb feature to this game? I managed to stumble into a hole and can't climb out.

Found out how to climb up ledges, it's pressing "w" while touching and facing the ledge you want to climb... I think.

sort of, when you jump next to one of the ledges you intend to climb, make sure you are also pressing W key while doing that. Alternatively when mucking around with the control settings it'll change the jump control to exclusively the W key, which in churn while holding the W key down will auto climb.

They do. I'm not sure what triggers it, but if you stand close to them long enough, it'll happen eventually

But you also die very quickly if you stand next to them and if they hit you you become untouchable so that never happens.

try to avoid the toxic smoke they shoot out then stand right by their side, not on top of them, they should trigger a grab by then.
from what i've noticed though, he's only able to grab you once he shoots and the smoke is still active, since he'll always prioritise shooting first


also, few bugs i've found right now:

• all enemies softlocked in place, they'd still grab you once you walk on top of them though
• round not ending even though the "enemies left" counter was at 0, and no one else was spawning
• you getting softlocked after being grabbed and breaking free

still don't know what the crevice offspring is though, getting grabbed by the plant and going all the way on the animation doesn't seem to put anything in you
