VN Ren'Py Confessions of a Sassy Girl [v0.7.1] [Huninn]

This might be a dumb question, but
HOW THE FUCK CAN I START A REAL GAME AND NOT A STUPID NTR PHONE?

I've started a new game 3 times with two different endings. MC says the next game is Confessions of a Sassy Girl, and it kicks me back to the main menu.

Maybe this is some kind of post-ironic joke, or did I download the wrong version of the game?
But I see people in the comments don't have this problem - they're discussing the plot and posting screenshots I can't access.

Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

The writing in this game is very good—not boring, not superfluous, just hot and cool
That alone was enough for me to enjoy the game to the very end
The personalities and animations were also excellent. The characters aren't soulless, which is something you see a lot in other games these days

Another thing that was great was the teacher-student kiss side story. I didn't expect it to be that good. Feature more of this guy, or bring him into the story as the MMC. I personally really liked his character
And It would be great if, in the game's future, you could give the player more choices, especially at critical points like cheating, without ruining the game's integrity/logic

I really appreciate you playing my game and taking the time to share your thoughts! Your suggestion about a Male Main Character (MMC) is definitely a cool idea, and while I'm focused on the current story for now, I'll keep it in mind for potential future content.

I completely agree that player agency at key moments is vital. I certainly won't be forcing anyone to 'cheat.' That will always be an optional path you can choose. (Just a heads up: the most recent bonus episode is an exception, as the core drama is built around the "choice" of fidelity/infidelity.)

Version 0.7 has required a little extra time because it is the largest update yet. Content-wise, it's roughly 15,000–16,000 words (roughly one hour of new content, if you explore everything). It also marks a pivotal moment for Ami's story, so I'm putting in extra effort

Greaaat, I'd like to ask if there will be an Ami x Jessica moment, but it would probably be spoilers so I guess I'll just wait expectantly with my teddy bear to see what happens.

Didn't this game have a lesbian tag before? I'm either remembering it incorrectly or it was removed.

I removed the tag because the game isn't primarily a lesbian title, and I wanted to manage player expectations. The story needed more time to cook for the different romantic directions to make sense. In v0.5, things were a bit too ambiguous, but v0.7 allows the player to define that journey. There is a dedicated route for a lesbian experience (which I, to the best of my ability, have tried to be transparent about) where the lead can avoid male romantic partners entirely if the player chooses.

not gonna lie this is one of the rare FMC games I actually play for the lesbian path cause I love Jessica so much. I will still check out the male ones when I get back to playing this might just give it a replay tho im a few updates behind

Hmm. Didn't finish it yet but: are those animations in the clothes store AI? The "fondling ones" are uncanny valley central, dosn't looks the best tbh and polite. And AI in general is trash no matter if it's looks good...And those are cropped frame too... I might be wrong and i hope i'm but in any case it doesn't looks to hot.

On another subject, i stopped there to come asking. It feel like this is wrong and i should have access to this choice:

Shouldn't it be the opposite: willpower < 50 ? (edit: my willpower is 36 aka "spontaneity 64")

(edit2: Thinking about it now, it feel like maybe you were thinking about "spontaneity > 50" hence the mistake? (unless i'm completely wrong ofc) The way you manage stats is a bit weird tbh^^)

Also the willpower requirement here is weird. I don't think there is a way to be below 20 so far. And why if it was the case would it prevent from doing it anyway?

Last (story) update, you had a lots of issues with this kind of things too, do you have any testers?
